Because of internet and electricity shortage I couldn’t access the hotel. A villager brought me to another hotel which I couldn’t confirm it was the right one because of internet. When I inquired the owner about it he told to just check with trip.com, contented about having me pay for nothing. In addition the morning I arrived he told me a tricycle will pick me up and no one showed up. For a 1 hour ride + 30 walk to reach the place I find this situation unacceptable.

初めてバダット村に来てBatad Transient Houseに5泊宿泊しました。
ホテルからの眺めは絶景で宿のファミリーの皆さんも優しく良い人ばかりでした。
ご飯もとても美味しかったです。宿のオーナーさんは介護福祉士の仕事で日本に住んだ事があるみたいで少し日本語が話せます。
色々なツアーやマッサージもお願いすると手配してくれます。
マッサージが最高でとても気持ち良く歩き疲れた身体を治してくれ熟睡出来ました。
是非泊まった方は試してみてください!!お勧めです!!
タイミング良く田植え時期だったので宿の方にお願いして半日田植えツアーも組んでもらいとても楽しかったです。
とても良い宿だったのでまた行きたいと思っています。

This was my first time in Badat Village and I stayed at the Batad Transient House for 5 nights.
The view from the hotel was spectacular and the hostel family were all very kind and nice.
The food was also very delicious. The owner of the hostel has lived in Japan for his job as a care worker and can speak a little Japanese.
He will arrange various tours and massages for you if you ask.
The massage was the best and felt so good that it soothed my tired body from all the walking and helped me sleep soundly.
If you stay here, please give it a try!! I highly recommend it!!
It was rice planting season at the time, so I asked the hostel staff to organize a half-day rice planting tour for me, which was a lot of fun.
It was a very nice hostel and I would like to go again.

Так как отель находится в деревне непосредственно на рисовых террасах, добираться до него крайне тяжело, и к тому же получается дорогой трансфер туда и обратно, учитывая, что автобус из Манилы приезжает в Банауе. Владельцы отеля очень приятные люди, стараются сделать все для удобства гостей. Но чистота на троечку. Уехала раньше, не смотря на то, что было оплачено больше дней.

Batad Rice Terraces is a must see, but have to be physically fit for it is very steep, high, narrow and very very long walk. But once you overcome the almost 1 hour walk with rest, it is worth to see the place. Definitely, get a guide and a stick to go with you. The owner of the place gave an excellent service.

Very primitive
We ordered two nights here, but stayed only one. We had a small room with bunkbeds. It was very cold in the evening and night and we only got some thin, synthetic blankets with no cover. Very low standard of clinliness. The hostess had a little boy, who was left alone most of the time, spilling milk and peeing on the floor, and it was not cleaned.

Ignore the one star rating. Booked but didn’t turn up as we arrived about 5pm. The accommodation is 45mins trike ride from central Banaue where the coaches drop off passengers. After the trike ride, it’s a half an hour plus hike across unlit rough terrain. So, unless you have your own transport, is fit, arrives very early with minimal luggage. I would advise travellers stay in central Banaue. Trike ride cost 800 peso each way. We ended up forfeiting our booking and stay in central Banaue. We saw the accommodation from a distance when we went to visit the rice terrace in Batad. As it is raining season, the terrain is not for walking in the dark. In fact it’s dangerous.

We dined here while staying at Ramons. They are owned by the same family. Meals are prepared from scratch and take quite a while (approx 1 hour) but taste great. Irene serves very large portions and even though we're big eaters, we still recommend you consider sharing a meal.

Irene did a great job accommodating our needs and showing us hospitality. I liked Transient house because it seems the best balance between all criteria - value, service... but also elevation: it is located high enuf to give great views but not too far from valley/ village. We got to go to a wedding while we were here. Very cool!
