myself and my partner went for the one night tour, it was excellent. the beds were comfy, food was average so would say bring snacks. however the staff did go above and beyond for the customers. We would recommend doing it for one night as it does get a bit boring …. Would not advise this to anyone who doesn’t like motion as obviously you can feel the bungalow rocking at all times.

Because we knew what to expect we weren’t disappointed. The view and the location is exceptional and breathtakingly beautiful. Would I recommend the stay to friends? I am not sure. Boat for pick up was 30 min late, on the way to the resort engine broke (watching them repair it made me not wonder how it broke in the first place), we were washed ashore (somewhere where are supposedly wild animals). Arrived 1h late in total. Later that day on the excursion engine failed again. Rooms are ok (besides the view and the Terrasse which are great). Bathroom is really filthy. Food was also ok (quite big portions) not the best but not as bad as I feared from previous comments. What bothered me is that they seemed to save and economize everywhere: no complimentary water in the rooms, watered down curry one lunch, no proper coffee, boats completely packed for the excursions, some areas of the resort not properly maintained… We had the 2 nights stay and did three excursions. We would have hoped for more insights (e.g. history of the lakes, animals) but we were given absolutely zero input however we really enjoyed the cave which was beautiful. Also great is the free kayakrental. The staff barely speaks English and seems very unmotivated. When I ordered a smoothie I was told only watermelon was available, even tho there were coconuts (which are more work to prepare) and other fruits on the counter. This happened twice. If it were not for the location one would be a fool to spend this much money on such a hotel.

Do not miss an opportunity to visit this stunning location. We stayed for 3 nights and had the ground floor room nearest the main reception / restaurant area. The rooms were baisic but had everything you would need. Even a TV which we didn’t turn on. Food was wholesome and catered for my wife’s vegetarian diet. We knew the weather would be mixed but we did still got to see sightings of wild monkeys, elephants and bison. We also made use of the kayaks and lots of swimming in the lake directly outside our room. Although our guides didn’t work directly for the hotel they deserve an extra special mention - Adam and Nu . We opted for private tours and they went above and beyond to ensure we used every bit of time there to the fullest.

Our stay at the Greenery was AMAZING. Our start was a little shaky due to rain, however our guide and hotel staff made the stay great. The rooms are fantastic, especially for being on the water. Clean. Modern amenities. And even decent wifi. Our only recommendation is to get more comfortable mattresses or at least mattress toppers. They’re a little hard. The food here was INCREDIBLE. Authentic, home made, and diverse. We loved everything we ate from the local fried fish, red curry, and even the vegetable and tofu soup. Ofcourse the location is one of dreams, with plenty of activities, sites, and animals to see. It’s a trek to get here, but worth it all. My recommendation to people coming here is to pack ONLY the essentials. They say you can bring luggage, but it can rain here at any time and it comes down hard. We got wet on more than one occasion and were lucky we only had 2 small bags to hide.

My family and I booked a 1 day/night excursion direct with Panvaree, The greenery and we were not disappointed. Surrounded by absolutely stunning views, the accommodation sits on the lake with a beautiful backdrop. The huts we stayed in are a little rustic, but everything was clean and well presented. It does sway a bit floating on the water, so you may want to have a think first if you suffer from any motion sickness. The sunset/sunrise boat rides were fantastic, and we did manage to see some wild animals. The food was so much better that I anticipated, and all the staff were all warm, welcoming and very helpful. The only negative I had was there a slight misunderstanding with our transfer to and from our hotel, but this was down to a slight communication error during the booking process. However, they were very quick to rectify this and get it sorted so it was all good in the end. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet getaway for a day or two.

Stunning views and surroundings. It’s a little rustic, but true Thai. Not lacking on quantity or quality of the food. The little tours were great. My only complaint would be the wifi, but hey, shouldn’t be online anyway when doing a trip like this.

While the resort is a little outdated and could use some minor updates, the location is stunning, the water is beautiful and the wildlife and surroundings are absolutely incredible! The staff here are friendly and communicate well despite limited English, the food is really good, like Thai home cooking, and there is lots! The rooms are spacious, especially for being float homes, and everything is clean. We enjoyed our excursions very much, and saw elephants, horn bill birds and monkeys. And we had a great tour of the Coral cave which is reached after a short hike and a bamboo raft trip. While this place is a little more hostel like, it is good value for money.

Stayed for 2 nights with my friends as part of travelling Thailand. We were greeted and welcomed at the coffee shop and had a smooth arrival to the resort. We were quickly able to be checked in and spent the afternoon kayaking which was really fun, and went on a boat tour in the evening. The following day we were able to see monkeys on the safari tour, and saw a wild elephant in the afternoon when kayaking which was an amazing experience. The views are breathtaking and photos don’t do it justice, the water is so clear and is such a breath of fresh air. My friends went on the cave excursion which they enjoyed. Staff were all extremely friendly, welcoming and so polite. They couldn’t go out of their way to help us. In particular, Benny was amazing and a great tour guide who really looked after us. Only downside, is that the food options are limited ( often offering the same chicken and fish everyday) however, the portions were big and we didn’t feel hungry at all. Also, electricity is turned off during the day which made it hard at times when it was roasting however, we cooled off by going in the water. There is also no wifi in the rooms, but we didn’t mind this I would really recommend staying here if you are after a relaxing and tranquil escape from busy Bangkok / more populated areas of Thailand. It truly was a once in a life room experience. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay memorable!
