The X10 Private Pool Villa & Resort

Wonderful location for a less frenetic holiday. Rooms are quite spacious and well-kept, everything worked and the staff, well, we just wanted to take them all home. Pool facilities, including pool bar and beach restaurant served food of a high standard, and it is all located just a small distance from shops and restaurants.

Stayed for two nights, in unit C3. The room is poorly maintained. TV doesn't work, already fixed once by replacing the remote batteries, and then doesn't work again. Hot water system doesn't work. Shower head holder broken clearly since a long time. Water doesn't drain properly in the hand basin. Tap at the hand basin has its filter head missing, and distributes water in the hand basin but also pours water at the back of the vanity unit making it unusable. Check-in was not smooth and we were taken to the room by a person who knew nothing about how things operate. He took us to the room and left immediately. We called and asked how to connect the WiFi and another person came, he was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very average. Considering the room cost 6,000+ Baht per night, it is not good value for the money. My opinion is the hotel could be very good, but it needs a serious and proper management, a proper maintenance program and to implement a proper quality control, so that when guests enter the rooms everything works as it should from the beginning. After checking out I can add that after requesting 4 problems to be fixed the day before they did fix 3 of them. The staff are helpful and friendly, but seem to be overloaded. As mentioned above I think the problems are a management issue.

We stayed one night in a "nordic tent": none of the photos show it. We were expecting a more luxurious tent than the inflatable one we got (which is noisy at night). We expected some advice from them on how to go into the Khao Yai park, but they acted like they never heard of that: this is not serious we you are located so close and your tourists obviously come for that (so we had to call another hostel providing tours, who helped us). We ordered some food at night (as this is too far from everything else), and we did not expect so much food in regard to the photos (we ended up with food for 4, for the 2 of us. They could have alerted that it would have been to much instead of just cashing on the money). We had trouble communicating with the staff as none of them speak english, so we had to use a translator.

Unseen pool villa, this pool villa was quick to open for the service but the road enter to the hotel was not yet ready. We broke our car for went into the property, we Informed receptionists but they were careless, nothing was act after told. Breakfast service was delivery into the room no breakfast at the restaurant. To stay at this property again emmm have to think it again.

Stayed for 7 nights, was abit worried when we arrived as there were quiet a few children about, but there are plenty of pools and loungers for everyone, beach is good, sea was calm. Had a room on 3rd floor was spacious and clean nice bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful great choice and lovely fruit smoothies available. We ate in beach bar most night - food was excellent and staff very good, great to watch the sunset. Had a lovely stay - thank you
