Wir kommen schon seit 2019 jedes Jahr im Sommer nach Baltrum und wohnen in unserem Lieblingshotel Fresena. Hier ist es einzigartig und Top! Der Standort ist super zentral. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist das Beste auf der Insel. Ich war auf Baltrum schon in vielen anderen Unterkünften zuvor, aber mit dem Angebot hier kann keiner mit. Wir bewohnen immer Zimmer H8. Eine Eltern-Kind Kombi mit 2 Schlafzimmern. Der Balkon ist riesig und das Badezimmer sehr geräumig. Wir genießen die Gemütlichkeit und die Sauberkeit in diesem Hotel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gamba Abend an jedem Donnerstag. Einfach köstlich! Für Hotelgäste ist bereits vorreserviert. Unsere Sommerurlaubsbuchung für 2026 steht bereits und ein freuen uns sehr.

Nettes Hotel, Zimmer eher einfach ausgestattet, aber mit einem tollen Hingucker: einer „Muschel-Wand“ (auch anderswo im Hotel). Störend fanden wir in dem Doppelbett die Kante in der Mitte, auch gab es nur helle Vorhänge. Wenn es früh hell wird, besser eine Schlaf-Brille mitnehmen. Unsere Dusch-Bad bot angenehm viel Platz, alles war sehr sauber. Beim Frühstück gibt es alles, was das Herz begehrt.

Äußerlich zeigt sich das FRESENA mit drei Sternen am Haus aber richtigerweise müsste das Hotel mindestens vier oder fünf Sterne haben. Warum? 1. Unglaublich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal in dem familiär geführten Haus. 2. Ideenreich, gemütlich und schön ausgestattet: Wohlfühlambiente. 3. Kleinste Wünsche werden sofort erfüllt (z. B. GUINNES with Port). 4. Kindgerecht - kleine Kinder können auch einmal Gäste werden. 5. Gelebte Nachhaltigkeit. 6. Das Frühstück: Auch hier viele Ideen, reichhaltig, geschmackvoll und Selbstgemachtes (Ähnliches hat ein "Weitgereister" noch nicht gesehen und erlebt). 7. Schicke und saubere Zimmer. 8. Möglichkeit der Versorgung mit Getränken und Snacks in jeder Etage. 9. Kühlschrank im Zimmer. 10. Günstige Lage am Watt. Im Namen von meiner Frau und von mir möchten wir uns für die leider wenigen Tage in diesem Haus auf's Allerherzlichste bedanken. Wir hoffen wieder kommen zu können!

Schon die Vorwegkorrespondenz war einladend, so dann auch der Service (Gepäckabholung am Schiff, Zimmerservice, Wasserkocher und Tee im Zimmer und im Stiegenhaus) - und das ganze in einem wohnlichen Haus in familiärer Atmosphäre und sehr zugewandten Gastgebern. Schöne breite Betten und ein großes Bad. Manche Tage Anfang Mai waren noch sehr kühl, deshalb war es sehr willkommen, dass geheizt wurde. Das Frühstück wird immer wieder gelobt - zu recht. Bei Bedarf wurde alles frisch gemacht, wenn es nicht mehr am Buffett war: Pfannkuchen, Spiegeleier, Schinken.... Schöne Lage auf der Wattseite der Insel. Winziger Schönheitsfehler: Im Aufenthaltsraum für den Abend fehlen gemütliche Sessel oder Sofas. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben nicht im Hotel Fresena übernachten, aber das Angebot zum Gambas Essen to go genutzt. Die Gambas waren extrem lecker, dazu gab es Baguette und eine sehr reichhaltige Knoblauchsoße. Wir sind extrem freundlich begrüßt worden und mussten nicht lange warten. Jederzeit wieder!

Das beste Gamba-Essen der Welt! Einfach perfekt und nicht zu toppen! Es passt alles zusammen: die Location, die Gastfreundschaft, die Gambas, das Brot, die Aiolisauce und der Weisswein (und auch der Preis). Danke für den Abend zum Glücklichsein!!!
