Older hotel and it shows. Not what we expected for the price. Yvonne was very helpful and friendly helping us navigate through our disappointment. Inner Harbor is very nice and lots to do. Great city. Great food. Easy to navigate by car or by foot.

Site on the water is great and it must have once been a great hotel, but our experience with 20 people staying one night this last week-May 2024- was so disastrous that we wanted to warn any future travellers- STAY AWAY for 6 months at least till they right the ship. They are taking water, metaphorically. Hilton left May 16 and we arrived in the aftermath, the staff seemed friendly at first but had no clue how to cope with the system change, ( poor things) and continuted to make mistake after mistake with our booking, losing our room list, giving the wrong room to the wrong person, giving four people one bed and one person, two beds, telling us breakfast was not free, when it was, but then, breakfast was famine rations, telling us each bed had an extra trundle bed, which it didn't, charging guests without cars for parking, refusing to give us receipts, telling a guest who needed a business space to work in, sorry, having us wait and wait to do the credit card for 7 rooms all over again, at the check out, presumoing that we were there to fix their mess, and with all of this, being rude, evasive, blaming, aggressive. and telling us we had to fix their blunders, which we did, but boy oh boy, Hilton might have got rid of a lemon at the right time. For whoever is running it now, be warned, the staff seemed disinterested in hospitality and more interested in hostility? Customer Service???What is that? The overall memory of my team of dedicated volunteers who came to Baltimore for training and to fall in love with the city, I am sure, did, but they and their friends will be taking a big swerve from Pier 5 Hotel, whoever is owing it by then. Our stay was an episode of Fawlty Towers with Basil but no laughs. We should have stayed at Hyatt Place or Courtyard Inn- they know what they are doing. We will be back, but not here.

I’m a frequent business traveler. When it’s time for me to travel for leisure, I expect the best. Unfortunately, my experience at Pier 5 wasn’t that. Let me start by saying I was traveling to bring my Mom back to her hometown for Mother’s Day. She recently recovered from an illness and wanted to get out. Since I trust the Hilton brand, I was excited to see a Curio collection located wt the inner harbor in Baltimore. I should have read the comments on Yelp or TripAdvisor first. Downtown location was great. Downfall was I didn’t check the concert schedule and arrived later than I anticipated. Because of that there was no parking in the assigned lot; the wait for the parking garage across the street was outrageous. Had to go back out around midnight to park in the lot that was supposed to be reserved for hotel guest. Both desk clerks were not interested in recognized as a Diamond member. The overnight clerk even continued typing after I walked up. Felt like I waited for almost 2 minutes before he looked up. The room was even more disappointing. Decor was dated. There was no information on the history or uniqueness of the hotel. Drawers underneath the TV were opened. I initially thought housekeeping left them open to see they were empty. Nope, they kept opening until I placed my suitcase in front of them. There were multiple room damages that did not reflect the ‘autograph collection’ brand. . . holes in the wall, hole on the night stand, mold in the tub, outlets that wouldn’t hold the cord, a fridge that barely got cold, and a shower with hot water that didn’t stay hot. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the chef at breakfast. He was attentive and made an amazing omelet. The breakfast host didn’t seem to care that they were out of coffee creamer. Juices in pitchers were just sitting on the table instead of being placed in nice. This location should be visited by corporate and bought up to standard to represent the brand better.

Excellent location, friendly staff. However, room had many issues during our multi-day stay. Digital key did not work, air conditioning would not cool room, the pole lamp had a short, no hot water in the shower. They wound up switching us to another room after the first night. In that room, the heat lamp would not turn off, many instances of the toilet kept running, the closet door was jammed shut, many TV channels came in poorly. small selection on the paid breakfast, food sometimes cold. Overall, very dated rooms, needs upgrading. With its location, it could be a premier spot, but needs a lot of work.

We got a very nice suite with a whirlpool tub; it had a bar and a lot of room, but no glasses in the bar, and things are a bit worn although very clean. The place has a reception with modest drinks and snacks in the evenings, and the breakfast is basic but serviceable, with an omelet station. The location is superb-- it is right in the heart of the waterfront, just meters from a museum ship and near many major attractions. Super places to eat nearby, including a Ruth's Chris Steak House and a McCormick's right within the hotel. But, at $450 a night, I was expecting perhaps a bit better maintenance.

This is nowhere close to Hilton affiliation. The rooms are with outdated furniture, ele tricity sockets and damaged. The staff is rude, non-attentive to the extent to not arrange for a taxy. The food is basic, nothing else except bread, scrambelled eggs (instant) and bacon/sausages. There is never any dairy products or vegetables. Overall, average or lower.

Tired 80s decor and outdated systems. Despite the good location, it's not really a place I would stay again. During a 4 day stay, for some reason, they asked me to change rooms on the last night (something to do with the conference rate) and then they charged me for both rooms. How does 1 person stay in 2 rooms? They have refused to reimburse me insisting that they did not overcharge me even though it is clearly on my bill.

This hotel needs to be closed and majorly Renovated. No excuse for this drab depressing place to keep going. Series’s no great. The staff honestly look like they don’t want to be working there. It honestly felt like they thought they were doing me a favor by serving me.

Definitely sub-part hotel and experience (not at all Hilton quality). Surly staff, forgettable breakfast and sub-optimal room service. No gym or safe access to one either, and a bare lobby. Not worth paying $350 per day!
