Arrived to the neighborhood and had some confusion with which house was the correct one; most unnumbered. When we found it, there was a massive excavation being done just nextdoor, which was sightly off putting. ( They later stopped while we were at dinner). We climbed the stairs and rang the bell. No Answer. I received a call from the host saying his wife was home and to try the bell again, but he would be there in a few minutes. We went to get our luggage and as we were returning he arrived. Joe was very pleasant and welcoming. He gave us a key the our room and the front door and explained that the keypad had recently gone up. Also explained that the Ring doorbell sent messages to his phone but, not his wife's (the reason for no one answering the door). He gave us a brief overview of the area and the pub and restaurant situation (no worthy options around the BandB, but lots of options in the town of Dungarvan). He showed us to our room. The room was as pictured and well appointed. The bathroom was modern- everything functioned well. The bed was comfortable. There was no lounging area for guests ( at least not shown one). We took his suggestion to go to Moorings in Dungarvan and were not disappointed. The food, drink and service were great. We we returned I wandered across the street (literally a 2 min walk) to the local pub. Quiet( Sunday evening). Just what every pub should look like- filled with history, advertising from the past and local character. Breakfast was stellar. Fruit and yogurt to start. Fresh orange juice. Really good toast ( the bread was perfect for toast). Lots of choice for the main - we opted for the omelet. Delicious and piping hot. Overall, Joe and his wife run a nice BandB. The breakfast was definitely the highlight.

Just stayed at Dún Árd in an Rinn. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in the stunning Déise Gaeltacht. This is B&B at its very best. The property is stunning and the level of detail is superb. Joe is the perfect host and the breakfast was fabulous. The bed in our room was pure luxury. Added to this, the location is perfect and the views of Dungarvan bay and the Comeragh mountains were gorgeous. Its also only 100 yards from the traditional Mooneys pub. We cant wait to go back. Thank you.

This is a high quality B&B. Our hosts were friendly, communicative and well-organised. The accomodation was very comfortable, immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and a special mention must be made for Anne's omelette skills! Joe gave us really useful advice about the local area, he could not have been more helpful. B&Bs are rarely this good - we thoroughly recommend it.

We decided to go on a tour of Ireland and the B&B Dun Art was our first accommodation. We received a very warm welcome from Joe. He showed us everything and made every effort to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. The accommodation was decorated with love and it was clean. The breakfast was excellent! We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived until we left. I would highly recommend Dun Art B&B!

Don't look anywhere else just book and you won't be disappointed. From the moment we arrived at the B&B we knew we had made a great choice. The house itself is stunning and the gardens are beautiful. We were welcomed by Joe and he straight away kindly informed us about the local bus across the road that brings you into Dungarvan. He even gave us a loan of cash for the bus as we only had a card payment . He couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Everything just felt so easy. The room was beautiful with everything we needed and the furniture gave it a luxury feel. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. We will definitely be returning. Thanks Joe & Ann for a beautiful stay in your home.

What a jewel of a B & B. Wonderfully located, this elegant home away from home boasts beautiful furnishings and antiques. The breakfast was delicious, and Joe was one of the most knowledgeable and friendly hosts we have encountered (and we have travelled). Stunning environment and sea views just a few steps away.

Stunning b&b, in a wonderful location. Perfectly placed for a stopover on our way from Rossslare to Co Kerry.. The room was enormous and furnished to the highest standard. The breakfast is much better than any hotel. A pleasant two mile walk to a small fishing quay, and a good pub only 5 minutes away
