We stayed at the Connemara Sands for 4 nights earlier this month. Situated just 200m from the beach, with fantastic views of Mannin Bay, etc. We had booked a Superior suite, which more than met our needs. We opted to dine in the restaurant on two occasions, food was amazing. My wife had buttered scallops both nights, mine was almond crusted salmon, & the most tender lamb shoulder imaginable. Breakfast on each morning offered a huge range and quality, both hot & cold. Despite intending to, we didn't use any of the sauna, seaweed bath, or other facilities. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly, and would enquire as to how your day was. Typical West of Ireland experience there. However, something that I feel sums up the customer service ethos. My wife & I arrived separately, as I had cycled some of the way. She ordered a coffee & scone in the bar area. Coffee was delivered and shortly after, when she enquired about the scone, they told that there were none left, & that they were currently baking one especially for her. Now, that's impressive. We will return for sure.
