Best Hotel anywhere. the rooms are nice, clean ,very comfortable and all that for sure..however what makes is GREAT IS THE STAFF..from Parking guys, to housekeeping to Mami Vika the place is great.. EVEN BETTER IS THE RESTAURANT.. HI BOS..APA KABAR.. ☺️ i have been there many times..they are my Family.. Kika, Laily, Mega, Said, Asrul, ....,EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE TREATS ME LIKE A KING.. Breakfast is a buffet but they will not let me go there.. they sit me down and get me my eggs, teh, fresh fruit and when i stop in during they day they get me es teh no gula.. i make sure to go to a fancy shop that sells very good chocolate Bars and buy 6 assorted big ones for them and A bottle of Wine for Kika and Laily to share. the food is 10000% PERFECT, THE CHEF MAKES GREAT MEALS.. THIS IS MY FAMILY IN BALIKPAPAN. I WOULD GIVE THE ENTIRE HOTEL AND EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE 10 STARS.. Location - a long walk to the main road via a Balikpapan Ocean Square mall which is quite outdated and poorly maintained. Room as well as the hotel in general needs upgrading as it is quite aged.

Neo+ was fine for a 2 night stay. It’s only 3 years old, so I was surprised at how well worn the room was, but it was pretty clean. The aircon leaked all over the floor on my first night but was ok the second. WiFi didn’t work well at all. Bathroom was quite sp**** - could have done with a couple of small towels and a hair dryer. Breakfast was mostly Asian with an egg station and toaster. The big negative for me was the location - not the best of locations for a visitor, and quite a long way from anything. Down by the water is far nicer.

The hotel is relatively old, but I like the lobby and the room which are spacious. The location is also serene, which makes a good hotel to rest for the evening. It's a good hotel for business people since there are plenty of area in the lobby to carry on business discussion.

Location is wonderful. But little dirty and too much noisy. I can hear clearly the outside store music sound until late time and traffic sound also. For the more, The room was not soundproofed at all, so I could hear sounds from the room next door and the hallway very clearly.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Ibis's Hottel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great decor and crisp bed sheets.F@B : The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much . I would have Luxurious impression. Front office staff very fast for check in process, room was clean, but for wastafel is not working properly, water still stack on wastafel bowl. ”HOT WATER” Not working really Bad Experience during stay with this property Facility OK ( Gym center & Swimming pool) For F&B Skybar food ( Nasi Goreng & Spaghetti Carbonara nicely) For Breakfast all Food was Nice & Taste Specially for ”Pecel” Very tasty All Staff very friendly and always help us during stay with this Property

The location of the hotel is quite strategic because it is in the city center close to entertainment venues such as BSB mall and Plaza Balikpapan, the hotel looks luxurious and meets standards, there are several shortcomings such as the door handle which is sometimes difficult to open, the rooms are narrow for families, the bathroom is separate from the closet but water splashes out and causes the bedroom floor to be slippery, no wardrobe is provided
