For the one-bedroom villa (with private pool) that I stayed in this time, the following opinions only represent my personal experience: Let me first say that I personally find it very uncomfortable to save everyone’s data. environment: - The location of the hotel has only one lane to drive in and out, and it is in a deep alley. - On the first day of my stay, the swimming pool that I had been dreaming about was not cleaned! It looked so green at first glance that I couldn't get into the water at all on the day I checked in (Picture 1). Fortunately, the hotel had a good attitude and immediately arranged for cleaning of the swimming pool (Picture 2, Picture 3). - You can hear roosters crowing and dogs barking at three o'clock in the morning, and the main theme is a ”pastoral style” - When the sun rises during the day, a lot of sunlight will penetrate through the glass on the side of the hotel. Friends who like to rest in a dark environment should pay attention! It's basically bright when the sun comes out. Now let’s talk about the ok part Hygiene: The hotel staff is very serious about cleaning and cleans up every day. Service: Standard Indonesian smile service, good attitude Facilities: Average. Please pay special attention to the fact that the bathing facilities in the one-bedroom villa are outdoors (covered). There are more mosquitoes at night. The temperature difference when entering the room after taking a bath is relatively large.

Maya Ubud Resort & Spa

Ubud Bali|1.17km from Yeh Pulu Temple
Maya Ubud is by far one of the best resorts in which I have had the privilege to stay! As a solo female traveller. expect superior service, 100% safety and security, luxury and serenity in a setting that is unique and truly special. The resort is set in 18 hectares (that's what someone told me) of forest, greenery and gardens -- including its own rice field and garden that serves the restaurant, a river and dense forest. The views around the property are spectacular. The restaurant is fantastic with local Balinese theatre and dancing entertainment. I shout out to host Darma who kept my Riesling glass full! All the staff are not only VERY knowledgeable, they will do everything to make you happy. Well worth booking taxis and tours through them. The rooms are huge: I had a an exceptional double and upgraded to a Villa with a pool on my last three days -- 200% worth it! (I was in room 708 overlooking the rice fields) The infinity pool overhanging the river is for adults only. It is centred in the middle of the forest and gardens (Note: only two of the beds get full sun all day) and it is well serviced for drinks and food as one of the restaurants is right above it. GEtting into Ubud town is easy: there's a daily shuttle for guest every hour from 9am to 5pm. And the hotel has its own taxis so it is very safe and easy for the solo female traveler. And now the Spa, THE SPA! You must book 2 hours in the spa and make sure you end it with the signature bath overlooking the river -- the experience is sublime and exceptionally beautiful it leaves you calm, relaxed and feeling special. Overall, Maya Ubud should be part of your visit. Highly recommended

This hotel has very unique design, especially the door room entrance which is super cool! The elevator to the ground floor is also one of a kind. The hotel theme in general are dark/black mixed witn natural typical Balinese red brick and nature greens. Room was ok, not that spacious but enough. The complimentary coffee and tea set up is amazing! They use loose tea and powder coffee with costumized equipment. They dont have phone in the room, so they communicate personal chat/text to your phone. Staff were super friendly from the moment we make reservation untill we check out. The coffee and cocktail bar is still closed from due pandemic, food was delicious and pool were clean. Thanks for having us!

We spent a total of 7 nights in this hotel. What a fantastic place! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are good and a good shower/bath with powerful radial water. But above all, the most friendly people! We were there with our 11 months young son and they loved him! You just need to ask them something and they help you above expectation. The location is fine, there is a free shuttle to the center and otherwise it is 10 minutes with a taxi for a few euros.

How should I say this hotel, I only booked for one night on the first day here. At noon, I told the front desk that I needed to stay the next day. I was told that there was a room but it was more expensive. I agreed. Since the room was not ready yet, I stayed at the hotel first. The hotel rented a car for two days and went out to play by myself. When I came back at night, I asked about the continuation of the stay. The front desk on duty told me that the room was full and I had to move out the next day. I think this matter is very unprofessional. I can bear everything else, the worst thing is the hot water. The hot water in my room is normal for a while, and it’s very hot for a while. It burns off a layer of skin. The temperature changes automatically about every 20 seconds. I have to calculate it when I take a shower. The frequency of the hot water is too tiring. I don't give bad reviews to hotels. Even so, I still give him 4 stars, encouragement. Finally, I would like to mention that there are geckos, spiders and a lot of ants in the room. If you want to get in touch with small animals, you can choose this hotel. It is a whole zoo. Finally, I wish the hotel a prosperous business. Anyway, I can’t find a sense of belonging in this hotel!
