I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. 👍👍🙏🙏

Service was nice, good breakfast buffet in the morning 7-11am. Clean rooms, good WiFi. Easy walking distance and taxi service cheap. Would recommend for cheap price. Fast check in service, very friendly and helpful staff.

Best western kuta beach, bali. Yhis is my first visit and stay to this hotel, which the location very famous specially to who loves surfing, swimming, sunbathing... 800 m fr the to the famous kuta beach bali. Surrounding by five star hotels, culinairy, beachwalk mall, cafes. The hotel is nice, the room is comfort, clean, tidy, safety box, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, nice linen pillows'bed/blanket. Breakfast is nice even simple ...

Superior rooms are not that great. Very limited facilities. Dim lighting in the room. Ok to stay for a couple of nights. Room smell was a bit odd. Good breakfast buffet and pool. You cannot book taxis online or your own, the hotel has their own Taxi dealings. If you have to book your own, then you need to walk few hundred meters from the hotel.

We stayed here for 4 nights and 3 days, so here is our review. The Good Things: 1) This hotel is located beside GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) in Bali, Ungasan. 2) The breakfast is great. A lot of food varies. There's a buffet and ala carte options. (We love the crepes and green detox). 3) the staff are so friendly and welcome. Especially to Mr Agus, please forward our thanks to him. 4) Rooms are clean and quite spacious. The not so good things: 1) Rooms: needs some renovation, such as painting or etc. Some loud noises could be heard, even during night. 2) Water pressure is weak 3) Breakfast: Some food can be improved so can taste better. Conclusion: This hotel is a great option if you choose to stay around Jimbaran or Uluwatu. We will definitely will come back next time, i hope they can keep the good things and improve the not so good things.

We stayed 1 night (19-20 October 2019), with an order on behalf of the wife. The location of the hotel is in the city center with large highways, so traffic jams are rare. Opposite the hotel is a 24-hour mini market, so it's easy to buy something. But you have to be more aware when crossing, because the road is always congested & vehicles are passing very fast. Parking & drop offs Guests are quite spacious, making it easier for those who bring vehicles. The hotel lobby is closed without any signposts or staff standing guard at the front door, making it confused for the first time staying here. We arrived at the hotel around 14:30 pm, then we checked in very easily & quickly. Not forgetting we were also given a welcome drink, which was refreshing on a hot afternoon. But it's a pity, the bellboy didn't help us carry things to the room. The bellboy staff just kept quiet, without any initiative to help. Even though we brought 2 bags, along with 2 toddlers who would be very helpful if the bellboy had the initiative. We got a room on the 2nd floor (225), with a view of the city. Large bed, according to what we ordered. The room contains a table, chairs, telephone, ample storage, plenty of clothes hangers (no closet), a water heater, 2 drinking cups, 2 bottles of mineral water & some sachets of tea and coffee. The air conditioner works well, because it feels cold quickly. Cable tv with various channels, but unfortunately a little bit shaded. Complete toiletries, shampoo, bar soap / liquid, toothpaste & toothbrush, tissue and body lotion. There is no hair dryer provided, may have to ask first. The bathroom uses a shower, but unfortunately a large shower for adults cannot be used. Water pressure is also very less, and does not release enough heat. The swimming pool is divided into 2 levels (adult & childs), with a sufficient size of both. But the path to the children's pool is not maintained, in the form of sand with grass and the surrounding area is poorly maintained. So after the kids ”swim, their feet will get dirty with the ground to go to the rinse. At night we try to order food at the hotel (room service), at a very affordable price. We order sandwiches, fried rice, fried noodles, chicken soto & french fries (all of which have a pretty good taste). Tomorrow morning we have breakfast, with a varied menu with good taste too (cereals, bread, rice and various ”side dishes). Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel. But it would be nice if the shortcomings we get, can be fixed in the future. Thanks & Regards Ryan Valiant

In the end only used 3.5 hours stay in hotel. Got to hotel at 1.30am and checked out at 5am. Airport transfer to hotel waiting area was quite chaotic as near to Grab and Gojek waiting point. In the end took a taxi which is just a short distance away. The hotel to Airport transfer at 5am had quite a lot of guests on standby.

I was looking for a place to stay in Bali Dempensar and I come across with this vila accomodation. I was arrived very late than I was meant to but all was sorted out by a very competitive staff and comunicate to me all the way. I was so please and stay a extra day. Its located in very good position and its so beautiful and very good care of it . I was feeling so good that I already highly recomended to sevral member of family and friends Many Thanks

I am happy I chose this hotel for my first accommodation in Bali. As I was traveling from the Caribbean it took me 4 days to the island and accommodation which offers good rest, great service and accessibility is very important. I am an industry professional myself and I give this hotel top marks. Beautiful property and very friendly and wonderful staff. Sukur and Helen from the reception are absolutely amazing. It was really awesome interacting with them during the check-in and check-out procedures. P.S. Helen’s mandarin is excellent, a big asset in the hotel industry and Sukur passion for the industry and his job makes a very good first impression. The breakfast team to include Sevira, Manik, Adi, Havita and Arik were all amazing and identified me by name and knew my preferences every morning. I highly recommend this property its location is ideal, new and modern facilities and the value for money. I’ll definitely return again.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Merusaka! It's a beautiful property that's a rare Indonesian owned and run hotel in the resort central of Bali. We stayed in a pool access rooms which was particularly perfect for a family with a baby. It's only 1.2m deep which is perfect for getting the littlies used to water in a somewhat private space (only shared with 4 other rooms and no one else was ever in the pool when we were!). Bed was gigantic and so comfy, great shower, huge bath (did not use) and a sofa lounger perfect for chilling and breastfeeding on. Great breakfast and facilities at the Merusaka. Never short of a lounge chair at the beautiful stretch of beach just infront of the hotel. The morning sunrise yoga was perfect way to start the day and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Super walkable to the gates of the ITDC so you can explore the world yonder. Felt like literally next door to Bali Collection. Left my son's swim hat at the hotel and staff coordinated with me and GoJek to send the hat to me in Legian. Could not fault the Merusaka. Wonderful wonderful stay - thank you. We will be back.
