I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are spotless and the staff are warm and helpful. The Hotel Spa is lovely—just remember to book early. While the car lane is a bit tight with some construction still ongoing, the location is great, just a short walk to the beach. Also, don’t miss Cocoon Restaurant nearby—the food and service staff are excellent! There is a LA Mora Spa nearby the hotel offers great and reasonable price hot stone massage, head massage and eye lash extensions too.

Loved my stay at potato head as a solo traveler. The security and location of the hotel made me feel very safe, with shuttle service from hotel lobby to Main Street seminyak. One small thing I’ll fault on is the lack of ventilation in the toilet/bathroom area of the studio rooms. Otherwise everything else was wonderful. Amazing staff, fantastic sunset views, plenty of activities available for hotel guests and thought provoking hotel mantra - good times do good.

Booked a Superior room which is the cheapest type. The hotel lobby was nice and service is friendly. Room was quite basic for the price range but clean. It didn't have nice view and the aircon system was noisy. Location wise, not much around but the Seminyak area is close by car. Lovely pool and resto area for this price range. There are other nicer room types which have a pool view and even direct access. I recommend booking room categories other than the cheapest type. I didn't try the breakfast so can't comment.

We booked the room without a window since it was the cheapest, but honestly, we weren’t disappointed at all. The room was still clean and comfy, and the service was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, and on days we had early tours, they packed meals for us to take—though the packed breakfast was just okay, it was still a nice gesture. The location worked really well for us too—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Cannot recommend the Kanvaz hotel enough !! Amazing hotel . Very modern and clean , staff are really friendly, hotel was quiet and tranquil and it's difficult to think of something we didn't like about it. Pool is amazing and wasn't overcrowded at all for any of the days we stayed there. Cocktails were amazing as well as the cocktails tower too. There's a BBQ evening 2 days in the week on the rooftop where you can see the sunset and they have live music which was amazing, food was excellent and with lots of variety. Breakfast was a buffet and also had plenty of options and was very good. We used the spa for a massage too and the staff were very friendly and massage was very relaxing and definitely worth it. There are sun loungers on the rooftop area to sunbathe or hangout and also movies shown on the rooftop during some evenings which is really cool. The rooftop space is big and the hotel itself is very spacious. Hotel is directly opposite Iron Fairies which is a bar with INCREDIBLE interior design , definitely worth checking out one evening ! Also not far from Potato head beach club which was about about an 8 minute walk away and overlooking the beach/beach access - really cool and chilled spot. We also had dinner at the Kanvaz which was excellent and all food is served at tables in front of the pool which makes for a lovely view no matter what time of day you're eating there. Service was excellent and all the staff were friendly without being annoying, they seemed very genuine in taking care of the guests staying there - the coffee at breakfast was EXCELLENT. Gym wasn't incredible if you're staying for a while and wanting to workout but it's fine for a few days. I don't usually stay at the same hotel twice but this is the first time I would definitely consider it if I were to return to the same part of Bali. Really lovely and modern hotel and an excellent price for how much we enjoyed our stay.

I really love the ambience at this hotel. The interior design of the rooms and overall hotel is extremely beautiful with many art pieces and decorative items. The location is perfect at Seminyak beach front. Breakfast was awesome with choices to dine at the main restaurant buffet style or the beachfront SugarSand restaurant for ala-carte food orders. There are activites organised by the hotel to participate. The staff are super service oriented and attend to every request quickly. Staffs takes time to pen down messages of appreciation to guests. Beach towels inclduing carrier basket bags and hats are provided by default in the room. This place is nice to chill and relax at the multiple swimming pools. Highly recommended.

Shoe print was spotted on the bed linen after we came back from whole day outdoor activities. Dirty bed linen and towels placed on floor were not changed, and the cleaner simply just placed back the dirty towels to the original place. Cleaner entered our room for party and drinking with the cap of beer bottle thrown onto the net of our bed. No proper cleaning was done. On the second day of stay, cleaner just confiscated our bath robes and face towels with no valid reason.

There's 3 convenience store along the street, best Greek restaurant opposite, skip the hotel steak (not worth it), pools are too tiny and not many sunbeds available. Eden spa around the corner is really good around 300k++ idr, skip Carla cheap, but not worth it. Pharmacy around the corner that sends medication for free and meds are really cheap!

Got a room superior which has a problem with the aircon that doesnt work , complain and they move me to deluxe . Good job Sense Hotel seminyak

I had a great experience staying at The Alea Hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. The place is clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming vibe. I also loved that it was budget-friendly without compromising on quality. Having pool access was a big plus—it was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and affordable stay in Bali!
