Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The only setback is the nearby renovations, which make driving in and out of the hotel a bit inconvenient due to the narrow lane. It’s easier to walk out and meet your Grab driver outside. The nearby spa is reasonably priced, and I really enjoyed their massage!

Great location, on the main road in Seminyak, surrounded by shops, restaurants, massage spas, money exchanges and the beach is just a five minute walk. The swimming pool is fantastic and clean, and huge! Plenty of space with lots of loungers. Breakfast was varied and on till 11:00. Great stay.

Booked a Superior room which is the cheapest type. The hotel lobby was nice and service is friendly. Room was quite basic for the price range but clean. It didn't have nice view and the aircon system was noisy. Location wise, not much around but the Seminyak area is close by car. Lovely pool and resto area for this price range. There are other nicer room types which have a pool view and even direct access. I recommend booking room categories other than the cheapest type. I didn't try the breakfast so can't comment.

this hotel is very budget and better than some five-star hotels, very clean room, super view from the window, friendly staff, nice pool. There are many cafes and shops nearby. I really liked the location of the air conditioner, it does not blow on your head and there is no dampness in the room, this is a real salvation in Bali! Breakfasts are normal, for such a price I would even say excellent!

The hotel it self is pretty old, need a lot of maintenance, wall painting coming off everywhere , there’s a noise coming out from the toilet every 30 minutes probably the water pressure but pretty annoying. only got 3 channel tv and it’s all abt news, Can’t connect to Netflix either. I booked deluxe room with single bed and it’s actually twin bed converted to single bed, even the blanket they use for twin beds so I got 2 small blanket instead of king size bed cover, lucky I sleep alone so small blanket is fine. No hand/face towel. I book 5 night and only slept there 1 night. that’s how uncomfortable it is for me. The only good thing abt this hotel is the location which closed to everything you ask for in central Seminyak, and the price is very cheap. Recommended for bag packer.

Staying at Kanvaz has been one of the most unforgettable travel experiences I’ve ever had. Everything — from the atmosphere to the service — felt exceptional and heartfelt. Every request was met with a smile and a sincere effort to go above and beyond. The room was spotless and serene, with a bed that made it hard to get up in the morning — it was that comfortable! The pool area was pristine and relaxing, and the rooftop terrace is such a hidden gem — perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a refreshing drink from the bar. The food deserves a special mention. Not only was the breakfast buffet diverse, fresh, and absolutely delicious — with something for every taste — but knowing that the kitchen was open 24/7 was incredibly comforting. No matter how late the night out was, we always knew we could come back to delicious food, perfectly prepared. The location is unbeatable. We could walk to the top beach clubs, nightclubs, spas, restaurants, and more — everything was within easy reach. Whether we wanted to relax or explore Bali’s vibrant nightlife, Kanvaz was the perfect home base. This hotel exceeded every expectation. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a full experience of comfort, joy, and genuine hospitality. I’m already planning my return!

This was my third time staying here, and the experience was excellent from the very moment I checked in. Out of all the resorts I’ve stayed at, Potato Head truly stands out as the best of the best. The service, hospitality, rooms, amenities, and food are all top-notch. The atmosphere and vibes are outstanding, especially if you enjoy watching the sunset by the beach in Bali.

Great place for a solo traveler. I was a little concerned About the reviews complaining it was loud, but I found from my room (did not face the street), it was nice and quiet all night. Walls were thin and I could hear people walking around above me, but it was nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. There was wall mounted all-in-one body wash in the bathroom but not much else in the way of amenities - but across the street was a little convienence store where I was able to get shampoo, conditioner, etc. Easy walking distance to the beach and everywhere I wanted to go this trip. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and had a simple process when I asked for late checkout. I felt safe and appreciated the daily room cleaning. It's not a fancy vibe or spotless clean, but it's comfortable and clean enough. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

We booked the room without a window since it was the cheapest, but honestly, we weren’t disappointed at all. The room was still clean and comfy, and the service was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, and on days we had early tours, they packed meals for us to take—though the packed breakfast was just okay, it was still a nice gesture. The location worked really well for us too—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!
