Bali Gianyar Hotels

This resort is absolutely stunning. The grounds are immaculate and make you feel as though you are truly in paradise, packed with statues and flowers that overwhelm the senses. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate - perfect for a retreat from the hustle of Bali or a romantic getaway. The staff are lovely and make you feel valued and welcome each time you pass by or interact with them. The resort itself - is somewhat far from food options and attractions (30 mins to Ubud; 40+ to Denpasar), however, the restaurant serves delicious and reasonably priced meals. Delivery, taxis and motorbikes are quick and available. Some amenities (such as the spa, gym, one of the pools) were undergoing renovation/expansion while I visited. Overall though - amazing value and I would definitely recommend.

Everything is really good just that forget about anything complementary for any occasion without paying for it. Staff is amazing, location too but they will not drop you even 500 meters from outside your hotel for anything when they can by their shuttle. But they will call you a paid taxi:-)

Everything is great, but the location is far away with everything. Hotel have shuttle bus to the Sanur beach and the art market, but only once everyday. The service of the hotel is great, but only at night, it’s the peak time in the morning, everything takes time. The F&B inside the hotel is great and also with the great view.

Everything is clear in fact) the rooms are gorgeous) cleaning every day) the girl at the reception is knowledgeable and will help you with everything) I recommend this hotel

Unagi's bit off location ideal for those who value serenity away from touristic spots. You'll need ur own car or motor bike to commute to Unagi, 20 min away from Ubud center. That's probably the main drawback.  Our room, common infinity swimming pool, garden-like pathway & intimate resto all clean & well maintained. All staffs quite helpful, courteous & warm interacting with us as hotel guest. We stayed for 4 nites during Bali's silent day (”Nyepi”) when guests aren't allowed to leave hotel within 24 hours. Yet we felt comfortable staying there. Will recommend friends & families 👍

The location was very bad. The villa itself looks luxurious on the outside, but you can see the countryside just 10 steps away. Every time you pass by the hotel, you can make eye contact with several cows. It was said that it was a villa close to the beach, so I booked it with high expectations, but the beach was at least a 20-minute walk away. If you go up to the rooftop (2nd floor) of our villa, you can see the sea in the distance^^... So I didn't walk separately. (If you think of a beachfront hotel on Sanur Beach, it's Osan, Gyeonggi-do...) However, all of the staff were friendly and tried to respond quickly to requests. We were very grateful that they tried to accommodate our convenience as much as possible, such as renting a motorcycle (150,000 IDR per day), renting a lighter to light candles (free), etc. However, since our villa was open, it was full of ants, and after the sun went down, lizards crawled out and stuck to the walls. Saying that there are a lot of mosquitoes is just plain nagging... On the first day, we rented a motorcycle and went to a large supermarket to buy F Killa... The bathroom was larger than expected and was divided into a bathtub/toilet/shower space. I am satisfied with both the fact that there is a sink and that the sink is wide enough, but about 90% of the water in the shower room does not drain... When I take a shower, the water builds up on the floor of the shower room and flows out... So, after taking a shower, I wash it every day. We wiped the water off the floor with a towel together... There was a separate kitchen area, welcome fruit was prepared, a soft sofa was placed in front of the kitchen, and there was a private swimming pool. I was satisfied that I could use it, but the bean bag left next to the pool was torn, dirty, and messy. There were quite a few things I was satisfied with, but there were also many things I was dissatisfied with. There are no visiting doctors.
