Bali Denpasar Hotels

Booked a Superior room which is the cheapest type. The hotel lobby was nice and service is friendly. Room was quite basic for the price range but clean. It didn't have nice view and the aircon system was noisy. Location wise, not much around but the Seminyak area is close by car. Lovely pool and resto area for this price range. There are other nicer room types which have a pool view and even direct access. I recommend booking room categories other than the cheapest type. I didn't try the breakfast so can't comment.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Bali, and I can confidently say it was a wonderful experience. The price is good. Hotel is clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. The environment is beautifully maintained. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic view; whether it was from common areas and garden, the scenery was simply breathtaking. Another great aspect of the Hyatt Regency Bali is its location. It located next to Sanur Harbour, it’s incredibly convenient for anyone looking to explore Nusa Penida. This made it easy to plan day trips without any hassle. Overall, I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Bali for anyone looking for a clean, beautiful hotel with excellent service and a great location!

Great spot. My room was a ground floor king with jacuzzi. It was spacious and well appointed though a few signs of wear and tear, particularly the bathroom and jacuzzi (which I didn’t use). Bed was v large and comfortable, towels good enough. There are water coolers dotted around the hotel so you can fill the jug provided as well as your own bottle if you bring one.  The restaurant sits next to the pool and is large. The buffet breakfast was impressive with many dishes on offer. I loved the pineapple mint juice and the Indonesian dishes as well as the egg station for cute little ‘on-demand’ omelettes. Pool was great, spacious and clean, large towels available from the poolside cabana and a swim-up bar to quench your thirst. Staff were happy and attentive throughout the hotel and the vibe was nice. I’d happily recommend and would like to return sometime.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beachfront hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable experience throughout. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from a beautiful, clean beach with stunning views, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished, with a comfortable bed and a balcony that offered a fantastic sea view. I appreciated the modern amenities and the cleanliness of both the room and the common areas. The hotel also offers easy access to nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops, which made exploring the area very convenient.

This hotel was so nice! It was my third time in Bali, and this is the best one so far. The location is great, breakfast was good, and although my bathroom door made a weird noise if not fully closed, it wasn’t a big issue. The decoration was lovely, and the property is huge. I thought the bicycles would be free, but it was 50k per hour. Overall, it was a great stay and the staff were amazing!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Meru Bali, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed throughout my stay. The facilities are world-class—modern, impeccably maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide the ultimate in comfort and convenience. The design of the space is a highlight in itself. Luxurious, yet with a unique character that sets it apart from any other resort I’ve visited. Every corner of the property reflects a perfect balance of elegance and innovation. I want to especially commend the spa reception team. Their gracious hospitality and attention to detail made my spa experience incredibly relaxing and memorable. They made me feel completely at home and taken care of. I highly recommend The Meru Bali to anyone looking for a truly luxurious getaway. I will absolutely be returning in the future—and I’m already encouraging my friends to plan their stay here as well.

1. On Trip website shows that Holidayinn has a nice beach and sun beds on beach (see photos) It DOES NOT have a beach access and sun beds on it. You need to walk few minutes towards sea side (see photos) and it does not look pleasant, clean and nice. 2. On Trip website says that Holidayinn will charge for your child under 17 half price for breakfast (about 80-90 k rupees). They have charged full price as they say that from 12 y o it counts as adult. Only if you have Holidayinn app , you can have a small discount (see photos). Breakfast has been costed 145 k rupees with discount. 3. On Trip website shows that Holidayinn has a gym with machines (see photos). It DOES NOT have machines to work. See photos. That small one in left corner has “baby” size like for kids. I had a chat with Holidayinn manager. She has done all records about this disinformation and apologies. She has informed me that it is not them who shows wrong details but it should be asked to Trip website.

I enjoyed my stay and I was surprised by how calm it was inside the hotel. The decoration is done with a tasteful touch. The staff make you all feel welcome. Check in and out was great. I was able to stay and do some work after checking out. The restaurant food and drinks were very good. Portions were a bit small for me but it seems to be the case outside too. The hotel guests enjoyed great discounts at the restaurant, the happy hours is also available as room service. Every night a weather card was distributed for the following day. And you could top up your water bottle or hing else if needed. This boutique hotel is definitely keeper. I had a nice end of my stay in Bali thanks to Maison Aurelia. Thank you 🙏

We booked a total of 4 rooms for the 5 of us. The building is quite run-down. It is actually a very well designed building with a lap pool in between the 2 wings , but there is no proper upkeep. One of the rooms was flooded after a sewerage pipe burst. They changed the room, but the next room had a leaking aircon fan coil. They then changed another room. My room had a leaking water heater, and my toilet roll left below qaa totally wet. The saving grace was the friendly staff, especially the lady by the name of Dewi. Without the above hiccups, it is actually a good place to stay if you are on a budget.

Hotel's greeting & staff waiting at front lobby to welcome us. Check-in & out is fast. Dining restaurant and Swimming pools are great and nice. Room Cabana with private pool is what we want to enjoy these holidays but it can be viewed from storeys above us. Buffet dinner is standard but the BBQ lilit prawn & ayam cannot be missed. Walking distance to ICON Mall and lots of food stuffs around the hotel. Pasar Sindhu night market should not be missed whenever visiting Sanur. A very enjoyable and pleasent stays at cabana room. A note to the HOTEL: pls do some modification to the sliding doors as any gaps will invite lots of Mosquitos into the room.
