Pro’s - This place is beautiful, with a beautiful view of the rice terraces, huge spacious rooms that were spotless clean with a beautiful waterfall shower looking on to the rice terraces. The balcony was large and looked over the pool area and on a clear day you could see Mount agung, truly stunning. The staff were very friendly and attentive and always happy to help, they were amazing in setting up our floating breakfast in the pool and helping with ordering taxi’s etc whatever we needed. The pool area was stunning and the whole vibe was very relaxed, laid back, chill and beautiful, it was an amazing break away. Cleanliness of the entire building was superb. Con’s - The hotel is slightly out of the way, which isn’t a problem as such as this is what we wanted but as there is no actual road leading to the villa it can be quite uncomfortable when taxi’s don’t want to drive on a rocky unfinished road as well as this the food and drink in the restaurant is slightly overpriced and there is no quick walk or travel to a shop as again it is quite out of the way, to top this off there is no mini fridge in the room so to have a nice cold drink you have no choice but to use the restaurant as anything you buy from the supermarket will be melted or warm. As mentioned the pool area was stunning however there is only 3 sun lounges (3 more definitely could be added) so if the hotel is busy or lots of children there isn’t anywhere to sit or lay at times. Lastly a negative I found was we stayed here for 5 nights and not once did they change the linen which was clearly in need of changing and had stains on, I had never stayed in a hotel where they do not change the linen and just remake the bed, I wouldn’t say this is something that should be requested either it should be done as standard procedure even if it is every 2 days etc that would be better. With these slight improvements this hotel could be amazing, I would deffo stay again and recommend to those in Ubud!!
