Not staying at hotel. Close by however and googled Shirodara in Candidasa and this place came up. So glad I did… an absolute gem with highly trained Ayurvedic therapists. I had the Anti-Stress program package just so amazing. They include Anyang’s massage performed by two therapists, the Shirodara, then warm oil bath, then the herbal steam. The setting is Bali perfect with ocean sounds and it was raining so beautiful background and birds too. Have had Ayurvedic treatments in Adelaide and Bali this surpassed them all by far. Very reasonable price, would pay triple or more in Australia. I will return for sure. Oh and not go forget they did door to door pick up drop off. Suksma.

Hotel lovely and wonderful location however!!! We put a towel on our sunbed while we had a coffee and no we are not the sort to hog sunbeds!!! A woman I won’t call her a lady! Took them away rudely telling me I hadn’t used them for 20 minutes!! She was not Balinese as they are all so polite she was aggressive and rude. Also we had a meal on first night and restaurant and bar close at 10pm, we had half glass of wine left after our meal and were told restaurant was closing!! Felt very uncomfortable and moved to a seat outside our is the way. So disappointing for a lovely hotel to feel I need to make a negative review!!!

The breeze off the ocean was a definite plus for us. Stylish, tasteful, wonderful service and staff added to the experience of this beachfront property. The accommodation is large, impeccably clean and is just a wonderful space. Thank you all for a lovely experience.

Everything was perfect at the Discovery Villas. The staff were so friendly, helpful and polite and attended to every question immediately. We had the 3 bedroom villa with pool and it was perfect for a couple with three teen/ tween children. I would not hestitate to recommend staying here.

We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe cottage. It is a lovely hotel and lots oks just as the pictures on the internet. There is plenty of room in the cottage with a king size bed. The gardens are beautiful and well Maintained. The pool/ bar/ restaurant are is very impressive and looks straight over the water. It is quiet with no traffic noise. The internet advertises a TV but it only has Indonesian channels so unless you understand Indonesian the TV is useless . All in all this is a 9/10 hotel. We would stay again and recommend it to others. We didn’t need the TV for only 3 nights but for longer a bit of night entertainment might needed .

We had a two week stay at this wonderful hotel. There were six of us three adults and three children age of 17, 15 and 11. The facilities are extremely clean and the staff is amazing. We really felt at home during our entire stay. Everyone from the cleaning people to the front office, greeted us every day with a smile and kind words. I can’t say enough about this facility. They cooked breakfast every morning was great, and this area of Bali is more relaxed than some of the more congested areas. There are many restaurants within walking distance where you can get a great Bolognese meal. We highly recommend discovery cottages.

My family and I loved our stay at the villas. There were 5 adults ranging in age from 19 to 64. The rooms were double sized & each had their own bathrooms, 2 with their own massive bath tubs. The rooms were cleaned daily. We also had our own pool & kitchen area, which were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warmth of Bali. It was a short stroll down to the ocean & the onsite massage/spa was amazing. We could not fault the service by the reception, restaurant, or accommodation staff. Everyone was perfectly polite and accommodating. The meals were all freshly prepared and delicious. We had requested a dinner down on the deck overlooking the ocean on our last night, which the restaurant staff had set up for us. However, the tropical storm kicked in, so we moved back to the outdoor covered dining area. We would 100% stay at the Discovery Candidasa Cottages & Villas again.
