Highly recommend this place, great location, amazing breakfast! Outdoor bathroom & cute little hut for accommodation

Arta Nadi is a pleasant small hotel with a fabulous infinity pool overlooking the valley (same view but at a MUCH better value rate than its up-class neighbours). The rooms are spacious and each has a terrace - the upper rooms are better as they look out over the pool. Breakfast is good . Other meals were a bit hit and miss with Balinese curry which was extremely bland explained by “we had run out of onions and garlic”. Unfortunately the hotel would benefit from some tlc and refurbishment - particularly of the bathrooms. Simple is good - but these are outdated, disappointing and not all that clean either. Missing tiles around and inside the pool letting the area down, and rubbish left by previous guests in pool area not removed for several days. There is no air con - but they provide a fan and mosquito nets (which could also do with a clean). The pool and the view make up for shortfalls but the management could do better and a small inves**ent (time, money) would make this a truly special place to stay.

Perfect place for relax with perfect view in nature. Very nice swiming pool also with perfect wellnes massage. Great cousine with everyday fresh meal and fresh fruits drinks. Perfect breakfast. Great home chief on the please with perfect comunicqtion. Also you can rent a motorbikes

When we first came to Bali in 1986 we stayed in Ubud in a single room brick bungalow with no electricity and no hot water but a lovely indoor/ outdoor bathroom. Part of the deal was hiring a couple to cook and clean for us. Which they did beautifully for less than the price of a G&T in the big hotel at Nusa Dua we had come from. It was heaven on a stick. Simple unpretentious and balm for our overworked souls. We've been back three times since then, looking for the same thing and not finding anything even close until now. This place is called Arta Nadi Villas in a little hamlet on the side of a hill in Sidemen about 90 minutes from Ubud. There's 5 Star luxury right next door but we just love our 3-star gem. Our host, Gede, is also a damned fine cook and nothing is a problem for him and his wife. We are very happy campers!!! This place really is a gem.
