Such a unique experience to stay in the family suite and have your own private viewing of the animals right outside your window.
The rooms were gorgeous!
Please note for families that the 2 rooms are not connected to get to the upstairs bedroom from the downstairs bedroom.
You need to walk up the semi-internal stairs and then use your keypass to get up to that room.
So as a family with young children each parent had to be separated to sleep with a child as you can’t leave your kids alone in the room.
Buffet breakfast was lovely with great variety and there’s a cassowary in that area behind a fence.
Staff are amazing and so easy to wonder to the zoo & then come back to rest & recharge and then head back out to the zoo again.
Hotel has some discounted activities at the zoo if you book with them which is wonderful.

The staff at Sanctoo Hotel were very warm and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located within the zoo, and we could access the zoo directly through an internal passage using the complimentary tickets provided by the hotel. We booked a villa with a private pool, which offered a stunning view of lush greenery outside. The breakfast was delicious, and the overall experience was fantastic. I’d love to stay at this hotel again。

The villa had an excellent layout with a spacious room and a private swimming pool. The resort was very family-friendly and even included complimentary Bali Zoo tickets, which was a great bonus. However, the location is quite far from central Bali and major attractions, so it’s important to plan ahead if your activities are outside the Ubud area. Overall, it was a great stay and breakfast was included and enjoyable as well!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, largely thanks to the friendly and thoughtful staff. Everything was nice except for the breakfast spread which was kind of small. But the warm smiles of the staff made up for it.
