Had a pleasant experience during the stay. The staffs are caring and surprises us with an unexpected birthday celebration. When we checked-in, we were greeted by romantic bed set up. After a while, the staff knocked the door and surprised us with a complimentary birthday pancake while singing birthday song. Out of expectation! 👍👍👍

Preamble: We spend a lot of time in Thailand, and on this trip to Bali we stayed in several hotels. Pros: - the location is generally convenient, cafes, shopping malls, etc. are nearby. - someone criticized the breakfasts, but overall the breakfasts are ok: sometimes better, sometimes worse - the staff is generally positive - in principle it's beautiful, breakfast overlooks the jungle, squirrels run, parrots fly - unexpectedly good pressure in the shower, though on the last day it disappeared Cons: - from the first day you start getting frags, on our account: 3 cockroaches the size of a cow, one of which crawled out of the shower, and one lizard (accidentally, we caught it and wanted to release it in the morning, but it apparently did not survive the stress) - there are such cracks at the doors to the balcony and doors in general that lizards and cockroaches are the most harmless thing to expect - with the onset of darkness, getting into the room is a separate quest: literally swarms of bloodworms, such a size that they could carry away a monkey, a million lizards large and small, in general after the first time, they began to return before dark. We lived in a house in the jungle, where there were many lizards, but we did not see anything like this. Darkness. - why and for what reason someone leaves dirty dishes in the common area (corridor and stairs) - it is impossible to understand. I will not write what word it is called. (No, this is not an isolated case) - whether it is related to dirty dishes or not, but on the stairs you will find different types of locusts, grasshoppers, cockroaches and all sorts of other things. - there is a pool, but it is not there Total: - a great place for fans of Fort Boyar - the owner and/or manager apparently long ago and firmly scored big and juicy on his hotel - left early

The hotel room is smaller than the photo, probably because they used a wide-angle shot, but I still like their industrial style design. Room service food is cheap and there are different restaurants nearby. The lobby is beautiful, and the swimming pool is right next to the lobby, which is not suitable for swimming.

I've been coming to Bali since 2018. I've stayed at the Nani 3 times now. Can't fault its location, nestled in the rice fields / country side. Unfortunately this place degraded quite a fair bit since 2020. The worst is the general hygiene of the bathrooms, black mould has built up in the shower area, there is also soap scum build up on the glass and tiles, the wash basin and toilet are now discoloured due a lack of thorough cleaning with the right stuff. Also, I witnessed a patron drinking water from the lobby water dispenser, he returned the cup upright to indicate it been used, and with my own eyes I saw a staff member rinse it out with cap water and returned upside-down to indicate ready for use 🤮. The staff for the most part are lovely, friendly and seem to want to go out of their way to please you. I had my air-con cleaned as I suspected it caused to get ill, and HOLY MOLY, dust as thick as you can imagine, dead insects and geckoes 🦎. It's a shame, I truly enjoyed this place in past years, that said I definitely won't be returning.
