Guests praise the spacious apartments with great views, sunken pool bar, and attentive staff. The location is convenient, offering easy access to amenities and the ocean-side sister resort. However, some may find it too quiet.

Like many others I was approached in Kuta by a pleasant young man- usual story - scratch card prizes to claim- and yes one was t shirts and one was first prize- what a surprise! Oh dear , have to go to his office to claim it and of course he was delighted because he would get cash bonus. Had nothing better to do so followed him - much further than he said, but he was chatty and I’m on holiday. Thank goodness office was air conditioned! Surprise, surprise you have to go to actual resort to claim first prize- thats when I clocked this was a timeshare promotion. As a solo female there was no way I was getting into a taxi to an unknown resort and made that quite clear to the gentleman and his ‘manager’ and walked away. The one consolation was that, being Balinese they were gracious in their acceptance of my refusal to participate ( unlike the European timeshare scouts who could be very unpleasant when you refused). That is why I have given 2 stars not 1! Tourists beware. If you want to spend your precious holiday time doing this - fine, but just be aware

Overall Experience I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel after trying a few other options. That said, the hotel operates as a membership club, and you are approached by a marketing company. Unfortunately, their approach can come across as a "scam", relying on a "poor me" and secretive narrative. While I understand that marketing strategies are part of the business, I do believe there must be a more genuine, transparent way to handle this. Thankfully, once I arrived and started interacting with the sales team, the staff and other members, the hotel quickly felt like a second home, and the overall experience turned out to be very positive. I also want to commend the hotel for their exceptional landscaping efforts. The team goes above and beyond to maintain and clean countless pools, as well as tackling the challenging task of clearing the reflux debris from the mangrove reserve and the surrounding ocean. It’s clear that they take environmental stewardship seriously, and their commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the area is truly impressive. Design and Aesthetic: As an interior designer with a background in tour operations, I’ve encountered a wide variety of hotel designs, and I have mixed feelings about this one. The furniture and artwork feel somewhat dated, reminiscent of the 90s, sitting awkwardly between modern and traditional styles. While the overall ambiance aligns with a 4-star property, there’s clear potential for a 5-star upgrade with some thoughtful design updates. That being said, the space still has a unique charm and provides a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, having access to the Peninsula Beach Hotel (the sister property) is definitely a nice perk, offering more options for guests to enjoy. Cleanliness and Staff: The hotel’s cleanliness is outstanding, and I was thoroughly impressed by the staff. They were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their level of service and attention to detail ( with daily motivation quotes left behind) truly enhanced the experience. Suggestions for Improvement: While the hotel offers a lot of positives, there are areas for improvement that could really help elevate the overall experience. Updating the furniture and incorporating more modern, local design elements would bring a fresh vibe to the space. I recommend working with a local designer, such as those at Ramayana Hotel, to introduce a more cohesive design. The hotel doesn’t need to embellish every wall, but focusing on what truly matters—creating focal points and a unified color scheme—could significantly improve the aesthetic without stretching the budget. Small, strategic changes can go a long way in creating a more modern and inviting atmosphere.

This place is amazing!! And the convenience to spend time in two different resorts close to each other but in different beaches is hilarious..! The restaurants of both resorts are good and some of the best prices compared with other restaurants in the area. Weekly entertainment is great fun too!!

Was horrified at the state of the luxury 1 bedroom apartment. Was told when I signed up to timeshare- it’s self Contained apartment - yet the kitchen is missing most cooking items, no toaster. And basic things like spatula, knives, toaster, strainer not supplied in the room. The wooden cooking spoon was covered in mould, the entire apartment smelt like mould. When I asked it be cleaned- all that was done was floors broomed, and shower wiped down (without only a cloth- no disinfectant or spray). The toilets were never cleaned. Any trails in the bathroom. Bath tub had mould around it. Paint peeling. The air con in the bedroom rattled so loudly it was impossible to sleep. The same air con remote didn’t work so it was stuck on 16 degrees and Couldn’t be changed or turned off. The couch and carpet in lounge room smelt and had stains all over- obviously never been cleaned. Somebodies rice was caked in between couch cushions. Was told we would have Disney, Netflix and prime on tv however you need to sign up for them to access. The bath towels and pool towels stick and had stains on them. When I asked to have fresh was told it would cost $. Every complaint raised was rarely addressed. This is the worst “exclusive” 5 star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Would never recommend

Please don’t take the yellow ticket, they targeted us on the side of the road and said to follow them to the resort. They wanted a lot of information (as in stuff they can steal your details), I didn’t want to show a copy of my licence and they didn’t like that. It screamed scam!!! As all things that are too good to be true!! Golden ticket, free iPad etc

What can I say? One of the most stunning venues in Bali. Very quiet and has a real country feel about it. There is definitely enough swimming pools to meet your needs and the rooms are spacious and well set out a great holiday place. Looking forward to returning again in 2025.

Please see previous review - similar experience. They stop you in the street, offer some scratch tickets, prizes, etc. No clarity in the offer and they keep saying that they get bonuses if you accept and that is how they can support their families, etc. Not clear what you can get in the end, they mentioned a voucher but I refused. Bottom line, you waste vacation time - looks like they desperately need tourists.
