This resort was absolutely gorgeous and luxurious! The Villa room was big and had a lovely pool. They offered a turndown service every night and brought incense for the outside pool area. There was also a coffee machine and TV in the room. The bath had a gorgeous view of the pool and came with bath salt and bubble bath. The restaurant and pool bar overlooks the gorge and river below. The food and drinks were excellent and they had a lot of options for breakfast too. They even offered us a lot of extra ammenities like village tours and free yoga/spa sessions.
Perhaps the most outstanding of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We only stayed for 4 days and by the end of the second day, multiple staff who walked past us greeted us by name! I've never encountered this anywhere else.
An absolute MUST when visiting Ubud, especially for couples looking for a relaxing retreat.

I recently returned to Pramana for a second visit and it was just as impressive as the first. Tucked away in a jungle with a river view, it's a quiet, picturesque retreat, yet only a 15-20 minute drive from the bustling center of Ubud.
The staff here are the real stars – always friendly, helpful, and making sure your stay is comfortable. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the resort, from the well-kept rooms to the communal areas.
Morning yoga sessions in the serene surroundings are a highlight, providing a peaceful start to the day. The spa is excellent too, offering a range of relaxing treatments in a tranquil setting.
The food and drinks at the hotel were also good, every meal I had was very delicious.
Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to Ubud center, making it easy to explore the area.
Ideal for couples, this place offers a romantic and secluded atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Overall, Pramana Watu Kurung offers a wonderful blend of tranquility, comfort, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in Bali.

Stayed in the hotel part called the Artist villas, a walkable distance (or via hotel golf cart 24x7), a bit away from the main area. Though no direct view, a very delightful and romantic experience, with a small private pool, openair bath tub etc. - all is just chic and quite unique, service is perfect, main hotel area has a direct access with all infrastructure (pool, sun beds, restaurant - as well as some villas) to the Sayan Canyon, in one of the best spots to observe is and the jungles - one of the best views in surroundings. Also this hotel provides free shuttle to Ubud 3 times a day, otherwise Ubud and neighbourhoods are reachable by taxi (Grab, Gojek).

This is a perfect hotel for those who enjoy the indulgence by nature and especially to enjoy the quietness of jungle.  excellent service, excellent environment and  excellent experience. 5/5 without a doubt.

I love the atmosphere, the garden, the pooland the great service!
The room was spacious and clean but I could find any plug near the electric kettle, and i have to plug beside my bed. Also, it would be better if there's another trash bin near the sink.
The ambience was great! And it was a nice and tranquil boutique resort. Next time, i will book the wooden villa with private pool.

My wife and I stayed at the Pramana Watu Kurung resort for 3 nights during our tour of Bali.
The hotel is super nice with well-equipped rooms/villas. We had the villa called Kunti equipped with a private swimming pool, a nice veranda and a large bath. The room was great. It is good to know that it is a wooden villa and therefore you hear more noise (squeaking while walking or closing doors) than in a "normal" hotel room.
The surroundings were beautiful. The resort is built on a cliff overlooking the Ayung River. On the other hand, it was further from Ubud (where we spent most of the time) than we thought. By the way, it was doable with the scooter.
The strongest point of this resort is really the service. All employees are very friendly and helpful. They do everything they can to pamper you completely.

A great hotel in Ubud. It is located in the middle reaches of the AYUNG River and is built on the edge of a cliff. You can overlook the valley from the garden. It is very photogenic. You can choose to book photography activities at the hotel to find the best angle. Because of our daily schedule I was in a hurry and didn't make an appointment.
The hotel's breakfast is great, beautiful and delicious. You can skip lunch every time you finish it.
It’s a good choice along the AYUNG River!
