Returning visit due to our booked holiday location being inaccessible as a result of an erupting volcano in another part of Indonesia. It was no hardship. The north coast of Bali has a chilled, relaxing, spiritual vibe, you cannot fail to want to just drop the pace, kick back and soak up the tranquility. Alam Anda hotel is lovely, our room in the gardens was fantastic, super comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff are beyond kind and helpful, so friendly, nothing is too much trouble and many remembered us from 7 years ago which was quite emotional! Food is excellent, really super choice and fantastic quality. Bar is great, well run and again staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way. There is a lovely swimming pool and the gardens in front of the beach have sunbeds and umbrellas, perfect for afternoon snoozing. We dived with the on site dive operation, Mavi Diving, all of the staff were first class, we were guided by very experienced passionate divers who really know how to look after their guests, boat crew help with equipment. Diving was varied either local boat trips or the stunning house reef but there was just so much to see. We also took local day trips along the coast to the Liberty Wreck at Tulumben which is a fun adventure and well worth doing, the wreck is one of the top dive sites in the world. Cannot recommend enough. The operation is professional and we felt we were in very good hands the whole time. We absolutely loved this holiday and had forgotten what a gem this resort is. We will most definitely go back. Thoroughly recommend - enjoy!
