Great Stay with Warm Service – Just Wished for Better Info at Check-In
Thank you, Best Western Kamala, for a comfortable one-night stay. I was very happy with my room on the 5th floor it was in a non-smoking area, just as I requested and the atmosphere was peaceful and clean.
A special thanks to Lara Ari from the reservations team, who arranged my airport pick-up. She responded promptly via email, and the driver patiently waited even though my flight was delayed. I really appreciated that extra care after a long journey.
However, I feel the check-in process could be improved, especially for guests arriving late. I wasn’t informed that room service ends at 10:00 PM, and there was no mention of this in the room or online. I only found out when I tried to place an order and he was told the restaurant had already closed.
As someone who enjoys spa treatments, I was also disappointed to only learn about the hotel’s spa promotions during lunch at check-out, when a therapist offered me the service. Had I known earlier, I would have made time for it but by then, my airport driver had already arrived.
That said, I had a great experience with the friendly restaurant staff, and Mr. Yono from housekeeping gave me such a warm welcome that I felt right at home as a local guest.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced, definitely worth it.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with lovely staff. With just a bit more information provided at check-in, the guest experience could be even better. Thank you again!
