The place has a great vibe, with super friendly staff who give you a warm welcome. You can top up the breakfast for a small price, and it’s honestly really good! However, there were a few things that made me uncomfortable. The room had a super mouldy smell, and while I stayed in a female dorm, the male staff were the ones changing bedsheets after checkouts. He even laid down on a freshly made bed and started using his phone, which felt unprofessional. What concerned me the most was that a male staff entered the room without knocking or informing us. He even tried to open the curtain around my bed but fortunately, I wasn’t inside at the time. He then asked if I was ready to check out. I can’t help but wonder what could have happened if I changing clothes or not properly dressed. I really hope the management can look into this and provide proper training on boundaries and guest privacy, especially in shared female spaces.

My stay is nothing but amazing, the staff is very hospitable and I like how they keep it secured but they are gentle as possible. They made sure you are being taken care of. Be sure to bring 200,000 IDR deposit cash before checking in and it will be an advantage because it's just a few walk away from Gigi Susu (the viral cafe)

The location is nice . Walking distance to beach , nearby shops and restaurants . The staffs are all very helpful and nice, smell and greet you whenever they see you. The environment is quiet and relax. I booked with breakfast, there are variety of breakfasts and I enjoyed a lot of their food.

The bedsheet had some stains on it, but overall, the bed and room were still comfortable. The shared bathrooms and toilets need better maintenance—some of them didn’t have body shampoo refilled. I also hope the owner can consider installing built-in hairdryers in the bathrooms, so guests don’t have to go to the reception to borrow the only available one (and it really depends on your luck whether it's available when you need it). The location was great—within walking distance to Batu Bolong Beach and several popular restaurants. Overall, it's still a great option for a short-term, budget-friendly stay.

Staff members are super nice. The environment is great too. The only thing is they only have one hair dryer and it has to borrow from the front desk. And the the sanitation of bathrooms and toilets can be improved. Over I have a good experience in Roomate!

Amazing hostel. Only problem was they removed the water dispenser so had to ask for water every time I needed it. Staff is great. Location is nice. Overall basically perfect.
