Mimpi Resort Menjangan

Pemuteran
This resort is inside the mangroves lagoon under the menjangan Island. Very nice rooms amidst lotus ponds, two pools and a couple of thermal (really hot) water. Really good restaurant, thanks to our friend Joel, don’t miss any fish they suggest you Many boats move you to snorkel around menjangan, the better spots are along the southern shore, in the middle between the harbour to the left and the temple to the right. Unfortunately coral is dead everywhere but some nice fish still remains worth to be pictured along with turtles. Anyway, the fee to enter the park is too much expensive

Pekutatan
A paradise on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Staff work and cleanliness are at the highest level. Great restaurant. Clean ocean! We lived alone in all the hotels; it was a pity that there were few people in a hotel of this level. There are many local villages nearby!

We had a good stay at Jas Boutique Villas. It is centrally located close to Bintang Supermarket and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Staff were all very friendly and check in was a breeze. Villas are lovely. The bathroom was a beautiful outdoor space. There was an outdoor bath next to a fountain. The little plunge pool was fantastic after a long day exploring Bali. We loved the sun bed too, great for relaxing. The only thing that really let this villa down was the mattress - it was very old, it sagged in the middle and is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. If this was replaced, it would have been full marks from me.

Dalung
Suitable for family outings! The pool is very good! Room facilities are a bit old! Hygiene is also general! But the price is not bad! Breakfast can add money to upgrade the floating breakfast! Also added a honeymoon package! It’s great to take a photo of a pool of petals!

Jimbaran
The bad environment is okay, but the pool is too small, and there are high buildings around it, which will affect privacy. The yard does not get the sun, and it is completely covered by the house. In terms of facilities, the rain is a fixed shower head. It is inconvenient and you should do more. In the indoor bathroom, the plug is not equipped with a multi-point conversion plug, which is very inconvenient for the guests. There is no washing machine and the service is barely good. The staff inside seems to ignore it. The sanitary floor is so dirty that I ca n’t drag my shoes. Step on black.

The location was in a very scenic spot, it was quiet, and didn't get much rain while the rest of Bali got more rain, so I was very happy. The only problem is that its a 2-3 hour drive from the airport with a lot of winding around corners and going up and down hills - true torture for someone like me that gets carsick. People just need to be prepared for the drive, but it's worth it. If you're the type of traveler that wants nightlife and partying, then stick close to the airport in Denpasar instead. If you want a relaxing beach vacation like me (still plenty of alcohol at the beach bar), then this is your place. The food was absolutely superb for lunch and dinner! The breakfast was average, more western style, but maybe I'm biased because I'm not a breakfast person anyways. You can always just sleep in and go for lunch. The pizzeria's pizza was perfection, and all other menu foods I tried, I loved. The service was great, everyone was very kind and helpful. On my last night when I was feeling too ill to eat, the restaurant staff made a free pot of tea for me and I was so grateful. The resort also called a doctor for me, which I didn't even know was an option, and I was so grateful. Lastly, the resort was stunning! Everything made of stone felt so safe and clean, everything was family friendly, there's two beautiful pools, and the beach was unparalleled. The beach bar & restaurant was perfectly situated so you can watch both the sunset and the sunrise and you can relax while your kids or friends play. Lots of outdoor space to relax, and the resort provided a free shuttle service to nearby places. There was even a gift shop that also sold sunscreen and aloe vera. And the accommodations! The bed was wonderful, the room was spacious, all amenities provided, and the shower was wonderful.
