Hotels near Finery Bali Store in Bali

I have been a regular guess since June 2019. This hotel offers a simple, and clean room at an affordable price. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Located in a quiet area but yet just a few minutes drive to the main road that could lead you to the business centre of Denpasar.

We stayed at Dream Village for a week and have mixed feelings about it. Pros: - Pool bar area is great for chilling during the day and night with a great view over Canguu. - Staff are really friendly - Quiet location although rooms have quite thin walls so you can hear other guests walking past the room and even in their own rooms. When the room next to you or above you has the shower on or flushes the toilet, you’ll know. - Relatively clean but some parts not very good. - Room is big - Great air con - Wifi has very good signal - Beds are very comfortable Cons: - Shower broke (fell off the wall) first day and still wasn’t fixed until day 5. Still usable but not very practical. - No hand soap anywhere across the hotel. I asked at reception for some and was told “we don’t have any. We just use shower gel.” I found this to be very concerning especially after COVID and by the fact that this also means that’s it’s unlikely the chefs use actual hand soap either. We bought our own to use. - Location a bit far out from things so you need a scooter or taxi to get to the main part of town/beach. - Dirty pillowcases and sheets - No balcony in rooms so can’t dry anything - Windows in room don’t open - Could do with a spruce up - a bit run down. - Breakfast is not great. Not much selection and some of the food doesn’t look very appetising. Orange juice is watered down, there is one type of cereal for kids, milk is warm, everything is covered with cling film because of the flies… Luckily there are some nice places nearby to visit. There also needs to be more breakfast type foods rather than carbonara and teriyaki chicken. A few things need to be improved here as it has the foundations to be a great hotel but I wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed in a two bedroom villa for 11 days. There was only two of us but the villa would happily fit in 4 people. The bedrooms are huge and clean and each has its own open air bathroom. The kitchen had enough for us to be able to eat and drink and there was a water filter in the villa too. There were two problems during our stay and the hotel fixed both problems within 24 hours. One was the water heater for the shower and one was the air con in one of the rooms - so I can't fault that! Location wise - it is in a very busy traffic area so you need to be able to negotiate the traffic chaos - this wasn't a problem for us but you should be aware of it. Breakfast was simple tasty and well priced. I would happily stay here again. There is a laundry about 500m away from the accomodation.

Location is very good and the beds are very comfortable. However. The whole hotel is dark and looks nothing like the photos on the website. The lobby has mosquitos everywhere, after we checked in we both had 10+ bites. Mosquitos also cover the swimming pool area and the seating there so we had to stay in the room. There were no windows in the room so it was very weird having no natural light. Bathroom smelt very weird. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else are unfortunately it was not pleasant. Staff are very nice however.

We were disappointed by this hotel. It is massive, constructed entirely of concrete both in its building and inside corridors, which creates an unpleasant a**osphere. Although the room was spacious, the water pressure was weak and the towels were worn out, there was no coffee machine provided. On top of that, the music played by the pool was loud and continuous from early morning until late evening, making it difficult for us to enjoy the sound of the sea. Of course there are also positive points: good location, excellent services, well equipped gym, nice food, direct access to the sea .. Type a message

I can’t wait to return! Don’t think twice about it. I am traveling in a group of 5, I myself single in the studio worked beautifully. From arrival we were greeted at the airport quickly to the property where we were met once again with a warm welcome and orientation of our home for the next 6 days. Their story can be found on their website and is worth a read. We participated in their yoga classes, meditation, sistrum, ice bath, sound healing sessions. Kim is amazing and has impacted my life in a way no one else could touch. I wonder if she knows? A good selection from their breakfast menu was included, enjoyed it next to the pool near the ocean across the way. Potato Head was the first week of our journey to Bali and I now believe it when they say that when the stars align, you’ll know it. And Fysh, if you could be so blessed to meet her here. She took care of our group with her heart and it is still felt! I’m not going to ruin it for you. It's a great resort. In Bali, just like in Europe, the customer base is basically white people who love surfing. There is only one restaurant but I can't love it. The breakfast is half-baked and à la carte. The creative health is good-looking and delicious. The lunch and dinner menus are different, and the price/performance ratio is OK! The pool is great and the scenery is beautiful

It’s a great mix of services appartment and hotel facilities making it perfect for longer stays . The staff was courteous and always available for anything you needed . The location is minutes from the beach and the area has amazing night life if you want to hand out after work. The vicinity has great eating options . Loved the way the overall props is designed with dog park at the rooftop and pool facing the beach and sunset . The pool facing the beach and sunset were the most beautiful part of the property and had fun watching sunset while sipping cocktails . Would recommend for friends , couples , solo travelers…
