Good overall but our room in the 3rd floor had some background engine noise from the roof. Breakfast used to be better last year, the eggs were poorly cooked (either burned or too row). Staff at the checkout were annoying and started calling 1 hour before checkout time then eventually entered the room 5 minutes before 12 noon although we had ‘don’t disturb’ signal which was annoying.

Overall almost excelent experience to stay for two nights. Many various menu for bfast, nice staffs but no slippers in the room and the air conditioner sometimes make suddenly noises. Please check the air con and make some improvement for the tastes of the food.

We decided to stay at Kenran for 1 night after reading a mix of negative and positive reviews about this hotel. Our rooms are very spacious and nice with a lovely jungle view. Our a la carte breakfast was good. The staff are very nice and friendly. Surrounding views were amazing and truly authentic to Ubud nature. For our stay purpose and the price we paid, it's value for money. The hotel should have been rated a 5-star review for our stay if the following did not happen. First, in one of our parents' rooms, one body pillow was very smelly, which indicates it has not been washed or changed from previous guests. This unhygiene is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Second, on check-out date, we must walk up the 45 degree hill from our room to reception due to all 3 buggy cars running out of battery at 10am !?. Luckily, our old parents were able to use the last battery juice to get to the reception, while half of us weren't. This situation was truly embarrassing for such a hotel to let their guests, especially if they were children and the elderly to walk in an unsafe, wet, slippery, and high slope driveway. Staff was apologetic for the incident, but the situation could have been avoided if they had made sure all buggy cars were fully charged during the night before. We would like to stay at this place if the situations above were addressed properly.

A perfect stay. Hotel compound is big and spacious. Service is top-notch from everyone, starting from the guards who scan the car for any suspicious devices to the porter, reception, waitress. Even the manager came out to greet you during breakfast to hear your feedback if any. The hotel is fronting a beach, so it's really good if you want your own exclusive beach. The pool is amazing, huge and nicely designed. There's also gym and kids room. For lunch during low season, they even throw in a free kids meal if you order an adult set meal at their restaurant which is fairly priced. If you want to eat out, come out of hotel and turn right, and there's some great restaurants at reasonable prices. It's indeed a 5 star hotel with 5 star amenities with 10 star service. Best!

Awesome Hotel to stay with the family… Very spacious rooms and suitable for the family. Overall hotel is the great to be if you are visiting bali. Only improvement point - it has very limited menu and portions of food is also limited. Breakfast menu is som limited that my wife avoided eating at the place. So glad we booked this hotel for our transit in Bali. After you clear customs, it is about 3 minute walk under cover through a carpark area. It feels like a back entrance to nowhere but once you get up to the foyer it is great. Our rooms were spacious and were overlooking the pool. The buffet breakfast was very good value at approx $16 AUD per adult, and had lots of options. The hotel has a 12pm check out time and there is direct and private access for hotel guests (just near the restaurant) to the international departure area where they screen your bags. This made it so much easier leaving the hotel to our connecting flight with VietJet. Decent gym. Great value for a good nights sleep in transit at Bali. Would stay again.
