Ormos Atalia

We were a large family group staying in a nearby hotel (no pool or bar) Unfortunately we had to check out at 11am but couldn’t get into our following accommodation until 4pm We chanced upon Ormos Atalia as and asked reception if we could use the facilities for the afternoon, there was a small charge but the lady on reception was just so nice and couldn’t do enough for us, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the hotel, we used a room while we were there so know they we good too. thanks so much Ormos Atalia we will return.

I stayed at the Osmos travelling alone great rooms in a top notch part of Bali, close to the centre and all the beaches. There is a hill to get to it but you can take steps or gradual lane. Lovely views across the bays and the mountains. Staff really friendly and very helpful, rooms very clean , basic bathrooms but totally functional and all you need for a holiday. Food is traditional greek lovely fresh fruit /tomatoes for breakfast with a choice of hot food. Dinner buffet style . I really enjoyed my time here and its so close to the quality area in bali with the nicest beach just round the corner

The views from this hotel are amazing. Rooms are fit for purpose we had everything we needed. Pool area was nice and clean. Food was OK including meat dishes and vegetarian dishes, my two criticisms would be that there wasn't any signs telling you what each dish was, and not a great selection of puddings, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful

This is the 6th time we have retured to Ormos Atalia for our family summer holiday and once again it was great!! Food and drink was good - apartment comfortable and staff were a pleasure to deal with - we really enjoyed our stay.

The whole hotel is disgusting and unsanitary, the room has been filled with ants all over the floor since we got here. Although they had cleaners , the rooms were never cleaned. The best that we got was new sheets and towels, the floors were left filthy. A bottle smashed in the room and the cleaner proceeded to just brush the broken glass out onto the patio which will be a hazard and a danger to any future people who will be staying in that room. The cutlery, plates and tables were filthy. There were bugs in our drinks as soon as they were made which leads me to believe that they were in the taps or that the cups/ glasses were just not cleaned at all. When going into the downstairs toilet, there were holes in the walls, mould on the ceiling and just filth everywhere. The ashtrays were also filthy, with blood on one of them. We paid for breakfast and dinner to be included, the food was practically inedible. We were never even offered a drink. The cleaners would just walk into the room when we were still in there, without even bothering to check. The ‘friendly atmosphere’ that is described when looking at this hotel is an absolute lie, it is very hostile. You have advertised that the hotel is great for families and that they have a children’s pool, the children’s pool that you are referring to is a tiny square , inadequate for swimming. And to top it all off, you had to pay extra for basic things such as the use of a fan that was already in the room. We have travelled to many different places and have never experienced this type of service before.

The hotel and staff are lovely and had a good variety of food choices and great amenities. The hotel is well located near 4 sandy beaches and not far from the village of Bali with ample shops. The pool was a key highlight, as well as the outdoor seating and the accommodating staff who made our stay stress free and homely. The area of Bali itself is very scenic and beautiful and the views can be appreciated from the outdoor eating area. Always enough space on sun beds around the pool too. The only drawback was some of the children in the other rooms, no fault of the hotel but they were very noisy at times around the pool. Nothing the hotel could have fixed though so still deserves the 5*!
