Approximately 30 feet from the river - unobstructed and gorgeous view! Level backyard to the river. (See photos - all photos are current)It has a large and beautiful two-sided gas fireplace (Liv. rm and bedrm - seasonal). The condo’s location is in town for the ease of enjoying Helen's many venues and year round activities. It has a well lit covered parking area. The condo building has 4 units - 2 lower and 2 upper. This home is on the lower level just above the covered parking. There are fifteen stairs to reach the condo (While the building does have an elevator, we cannot guarantee its functioning status as that is managed by the HOA. While we would love to host you, if an elevator is a necessity we encourage you to continue your search rather than experience any inconvenience. As of 6/4/25 the elevator is out of order with an unknown date of repair, this listing will be updated when it has been repaired.) There is a front balcony (small/Juliet) just off the dining room. It provides a street view and a view of a few business establishments. A view of the river can be seen from the bedroom.The over-sized bathroom includes a jetted tub (big enough for two), a separate shower, a cabinet with towels, wash cloths and storage and counter space for personal items.Rear covered deck: Your home away from home has a relaxing rear covered deck with an amazing view of the Chattahoochee River just a few feet away. The rear deck has a table and two chairs for private riverside relaxing. Enjoy a quiet morning with a hot beverage or a drink of choice later in the day. Whether it is waking up late and enjoying a cup of hot coffee from our coffee bar (Keurig, Coffee Pot); Rising early for a beautiful sunrise from the front deck; Heading out for a hike or a game of golf; or exploring the fun little German town of Helen; or ending the day with a nice glass of wine as you watch the sun set, we hope that your stay at Lederhosen Lodge is the restful and rejuvenating to your soul!Our mountain home resides in the Innsbruck gated golf community, which lies just on the edge of down town Helen....you get the best of both worlds...close to all of the action, but nestled back on the windy mountainous roads that make this cabin a peaceful retreat in the woods. Our home is very spacious! All three levels have their own bedroom and full bath, as well as additional living space. The top floor has a loft and game room, complete with arcade games, a multigame table, board games, puzzles, books and more. The main floor has a cozy living room, a dining area and a full kitchen and coffee bar. This main floor has a three-sided wrap around porch, which affords guest to enjoy a tranquil and quiet mountain view, an early morning sunrise, and even a beautiful sunset later in the day. Wildlife is abundant in our neighborhood. Don't be surprised to see deer, foxes, and maybe even a bear (don't approach them, but the sighting is nice). The basement level has a separate entrance from the front of the house, as well as stairs from the main floor inside. Parking is available in the front, allowing visitors to come in on the bottom floor. Downstairs, in addition to the bedroom and full bathroom, you have a secondary kitchen, living room area with a trundle bed and a walk in laundry room complete with washer and dryer. Each bedroom and both living rooms have a smart tv. The Wifi connection is enhanced with a mesh system. Connectivity will be no problem...if it is, please unplug and reconnect...99% of the time this will do the trick. Second bedroom has full bathroom and standard shower/tub combination. Fully covered back deck makes it usable all year or in any weather conditions.
