A few unique and interesting features of the home:The majority of the artwork is all original hand paintings from the owner’s grandmother. The canvases were found in an attic and were able to be brought back to life and beautifully displayed to set the tone throughout the home. Many pieces of the furniture are also over 150 years old. While there are vintage pieces, there is no lack of luxury and top of the line features to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable with all the comforts of home. Beds for 10 in this beautiful and spacious 3 BR + loft, 2 full baths house with open floor plan, on 1.5 acres off of Ski Hill Road, between Driggs and Grand Targhee Resort (15 minute drive to Grand Targhee). Air conditioning installed--rare for Teton Valley! Great views of Grand Teton and surrounding mountain ranges through huge picture windows, plenty of privacy, and peace and quiet. It is a 5 minute drive into town, where there is an excellent, modern grocery store, a fine wine shop, several outdoors shops and outfitters, and many other stores, as well as several very good restaurants. It is 9.7 miles (about a 15 min. drive) up to the ski area, where there is fantastic downhill and nordic skiing, as well as a tubing hill. Grand Targhee consistently gets more snowfall than any other ski area in Idaho, and has unbelievable powder skiing! Additionally, throughout the valley there are multiple opportunities for nordic skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. When the snow melts, the trails are great for hiking and mountain biking, and there are fantastic outdoors music concerts and festivals. There is also fabulous fly-fishing in the area with 3 world-renowned rivers (S. Fork Snake, Henry's Fork, and Teton) and ~ 20 productive smaller streams within 40 minutes. We are a 45 min drive over the pass to Jackson Hole, and an hour drive up to Yellowstone National Park. We also have a local rodeo, a real treat!World Cast Outfitters and Fitzgerald Bicycles are an easy walk offering guided trout fishing and bicycle rentals. A scenic drive to Jackson brings you to a bigger, busier old west town. Check out the Million Dollar Bar and have your photo taken under the Antlers Arch on the main square. Book a guided river rafting tour on the Snake River. You can select a scenic float where you view local wildlife or a white knuckle whitewater trip! A short drive through town is the entrance to Grand Teton National Park with all its splendor, a must see when visiting this area.Our 2,138 square foot townhome is in the quiet neighborhood of Trail Creek Springs with many beautiful trees, a pond and creek and a short walk to the center of Victor. The half bath and laundry room are located just off the kitchen. We have three beautifully appointed bedrooms.
