The spaceHeading into the spacious living room, there are large open/close windows overlooking the lush forestry, allowing you to fully enjoy the views along with the many naturistic sounds ranging from birds chirping to the ocean crashing. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal prepping, perfect for serving delicious meals to your friends and family after a peaceful day at the beach.Don’t feel like cooking inside? No worries! We also have a BBQ on the balcony where you can grill up something satisfying before heading back inside for a night of board games, puzzles, or gathering around the 75-inch TV for a family movie night. PS: Don’t forget to bring popcorn!The house is almost a single-leveled home. The main level features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a laundry room, and an open living room that blends into the kitchen. And from the living room, there are stairs that lead to the game room and hot tub outside.Other things to noteNeighborhood:We are located in a very quiet and well-maintained neighborhood where everyone is super friendly and always make you feel like you are a resident yourself. In addition, you won’t see any loud nightlife going on around here, so please NO PARTIES or any LOUD EVENTS to help keep our community and neighborhood keep the peaceful environment it has always been. Also keep in mind that we often have kids playing in the neighborhood, so please lower your speed after entering the community gate.That said, when you are not out exploring all that Oregon has to offer or heading to the beach, feel free to enjoy one of the 3 mini trails located insight the neighborhood to either begin your day off right or end it on a relaxing note.Get Around:We never knew Netarts Bay would end up being our true vacation destination, but we sure understand that now! Netarts Bay, Oregon is the prime spot for enjoying both adventurous and relaxing activities in just about every direction. Here, you can go crabbing, clamming, or even watching the Harbor Seals from the shore when the tide is low (some may even get really close to you!). And if you love adventures, you can rent a boat or a kayak cruising on the bay to soak in the landscape. If you are lucky, you may even see a giant eagle catching fish on the bay!Besides the bay, we are just 10 minutes away from Oceanside, where you can surf, pick pretty stones, have a drink in one of the oceanfront restaurants, and/or watch the beautiful sunset at Three Arch Rocks (we call it kissing dinosaurs). Please, don’t allow/take pets into the loft -the stairs are open view and it causes concern with depth perception. Additionally, the loft is carpeted and just not a place I want Dogs. (Please, no eating, food, snacks in loft). Please, bring your own Doggy Pal bedding, we love pets but not in/on our beds or our furnature. Please, don’t leave Doggy Pals in the house or closed in rooms /decks without you-I can’t imagine the anxiety that could cause in an unfamiliar place. Please bring towels for the beach for yourself and Doggy Pals. The sand wreaks havoc on the house /appliances. The outdoor shower level is the perfect spot to tidy up and hang towels when beach clean up is done and as you head up to the house front door entry. So sorry to have to go through these points-but I’ve been simply amazed that folks would needs these tips shared as guests in someone’s home- so, I’m including this for everyone.For safety- Guests are required to provide car information, make/model/color and license plate. Emergency contact info for someone not at house location required. This is a safety measure. Please review description of coastal home and location. The Converse Cabin is located near the mouth of Netarts Bay and offers direct access to a quiet, nearly private beach. The breathtaking panoramic view of Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean makes this beach house a wonderful place to stay no matter the weather. Located 7 miles west of Tillamook, OR, the sleepy community of Netarts is a hidden jewel of the Oregon Coast. Netarts offers guests an uncomplicated coast experience, with plenty of adventure to be found within a short drive.Check in is 4 pm with check out at 12 noon. For large groups our next door neighbors' cabin may also be available for rent. Description: Our home is a 3-story oceanfront. There are 1200 square feet on the 3 levels. The beach is in our back yard. There are 2 bedrooms: the master bedroom has a king size bed and an adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and a bathroom across the hall. The whole west wall is glass in the bedrooms. There is a spiral stair to the living room, dining room, and kitchen on the second floor. The great room has a living room, dining room and kitchen. The whole west wall is glass with breath taking views of Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. There is a deck off the dining room with patio table and chairs, and electric barbeque. The kitchen is fully furnished. We have a Jenn Aire Range, dishwasher and microwave. There is a 1/2 bath on the second floor and a stair to the 3rd floor with a futon which folds out to a double bed.There is a path to our sandy beach with plenty of driftwood.You can rent a boat with 3 crab pots only 6 blocks from our home and go crabbing in Netarts Bay. You can also dig for clams. Tillamook is only 7 miles away for your shopping needs.
