All of our rooms are ocean front with a private balcony, so regardless of which level you choose, you get an ocean view! Please note, we DO NOT have an elevator! We have three (3) floors to choose from! Our upper level (3rd floor) is 16 stairs UP from the parking lot level. You get the very best views of the ocean and can see the ocean surf breaking! You get a third story view, but only have to climb one flight of stairs! We also recommend this level if you would like the quietest rooms because you are at the very top! No one is above you! Our parking lot level (2nd floor) provides easy access to the room since you park right in front of the room. No stairs! You get a great second story ocean view and can see the ocean surf breaking! It provides easy access to the lobby, indoor pool hot tub, convention center, and business center. Our lower level (1st Floor) is 16 Stairs DOWN from the parking lot level. You can see the ocean go out to the horizon Oregons natural dunes. Please note: you can NOT see the sand/beach or the ocean surf breaking. It is closest to our private beach access, so it is only a minute walk to the sand, beach and ocean (120 Yards). Included in your stay is a hot breakfast with a selection of fresh eggs, hot sausage, Belgian waffles, warm biscuits gravy, and many other breakfast essentials! There are 4 master suites all have their own unique charm. Chrome room: has a beautiful view of the river and has an open Vegas style open layout. The bathtub is viable from the bed sits in a window to enjoy the best views in the house. Heated floors, beautiful windows that reach 24 ft high, this room is the most modern and sleek room of all rooms in the house. Copper Room: this room was designed for the man of the house, my father. I opted for masculine colors copper tiles and dark granite shower. This room features its own steam room, 3 shower heads, heated floors, a big Japanese copper soaking tub, a private lanai, nice views, and king sized bed. Ivory Room: this is the master suite in my humble opinion. This room was designed for my mother with a private fireplace, claw foot tub, an expansive deck that connects to the great room deck, Cal King bed, heated floors, steam room, and sits on the main floor. Myrtle room: Sits up river and has a romantic vibe that has a cal king bed, its own private lanai, the biggest Japanese copper soaking tub one could imagine, and heated shower floors. This house and hosting guests has become my passion. From small details ranging from providing cozy robes to being available 24/7 on the property, offering chef services, or talking with guests about the property, and surrounding areas. Or you might want to consider exploring local beaches, seeing the redwoods or connecting with any of the many other outdoor adventures we'll tell you about when you book your stay.BEACH ACCESSWe're located on a cliff directly above the beach with no current access down the side of the cliff to the beach below, but it is just a two minute drive to BEACH-LEVEL PARKING at Harris Beach State Park.SOUTH HARRIS BEACHSouth Harris Beach, which is one of the best ocean beaches on the Oregon coast, is even closer; it is just a ten minute walk or a one minute drive to get there. And it almost never has people on it because you have to walk down the side of a cliff on a paved path to get to it, and because very few tourists know about it.LONE RANCH BEACHLone Ranch Beach with lots of tide pools with starfish and other sea life is a four minute drive north.HARBOR BEACHThe magnificent driftwood covered beach at the harbor is just five minutes south.SECRET BEACHSecret Beach is wild and scenic and it's just a quick 10 or 12 minute drive north on US Highway 101.WHALE WATCHINGResident gray whales can be seen all year but they are more frequently spotted in the summer and fall when they feed closer to shore. We also have thousands more migrating whales along the Oregon coast every year, going south, between mid-December & mid-January and they start returning up the Oregon toward to Alaska every year in between late March and June.REDWOOD NATURE TRAILWalking under the canopy of a redwood forest is like being in a natural cathedral. The mile long and quite walkable Redwood Nature Trail is just 9 miles away. And world famous Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park is just 22 miles south on US Highway 101.WILD RIVERSThe Chetco River, with some of the best salmon runs in the world plus a lot of trout and steelhead, runs right through Brookings.
