Zijinyuan Hotel is a rare high-end luxurious club-style hotel in Shipu. The proprietress is very attentive to the decoration, which is very high-end and feels very good. The club-style facilities on the 8th and 9th floors are decorated with high quality. (Part of the project has not been renovated yet) My friend and I were lucky enough to experience it first, and it was very good! The decoration style is grand and luxurious, and the view is broad, with a panoramic view of the entire Shipu Town. The location is peaceful and quiet, close to Shipu Port. Walking out of the hotel is a traditional street with snacks, food stalls and fruit stalls nearby. I am very happy to recommend and share this hotel with everyone! It’s worth going to Shipu friends to experience it!

位置:説好也好，説不好也不好。好的是有江景，比較雅緻清凈。里老街和火車站也不太遠。不好的是，比較偏僻，周圍沒啥商業。打車也要走幾百米路。
房間:面積不大，設計一般，卧具還不錯。陽台好評。
服務:前台的兩個小妹好像比較內向，談不上熱情，作為服務業來説，不太應該。或許是老闆工資開的不夠高。
早餐:就價位來説還不錯，熱菜簡單可以忽略，麪條不錯，有兩個很實在的澆頭。灰汁團有地方特色。

The boss was very nice, upgraded the room type for free, and was responsive to all requests during the stay.

Standing at the high point of the camp, the golden light gradually appeared on the sea level, like the gentlest call of nature. At that moment, all the waiting turned into the magnificence and tranquility in front of me, and the troubles in my heart seemed to disappear. There is also a group of lively and lovely sheep. They forage leisurely around the camp and occasionally interact closely with guests, adding a bit of pastoral interest to the camping life. Children especially love these docile little guys, and every encounter with them becomes an unforgettable memory during the journey.
The most important thing is that compared to some overcrowded popular attractions, the camping base facing the sea on Mount Fantong maintains a rare niche and tranquility. The room is spacious and bright enough, with complete supporting facilities, including a business desk, and other supporting facilities such as round tables, sofas, and central air-conditioning with automatic 25-degree control. NNicole StFRIENDLIEST Hotel in China! Honestly, these were the kindest hotel owners we've ever had the pleasure to encounter. Kind and thoughtful and helpful. The rooms were super clean and quiet. Breakfast was an absolute feast...plus it was prepared early in the morning due to our early train departure. The hotel's location in Qiantong Town was perfect and scenic. And the nightly hotel rates were very affordable. I definitely recommend staying here.

SScarletTheWandererNew Century Resort Jiulong Lake exceeded all my expectations and provided a truly enjoyable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, going out of their way to be helpful and offering valuable tips on things to do in the area. 包智慧 was especially kind and helpful! The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the water, giving it a tropical vibe. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of delicious options, and the resort was very family-friendly.
While it was a shame that the outdoor pool was only open in July and August, the indoor pool and hot tub were still great. The resort's proximity to the Scenic Area allowed for a day of exploration, with hiking trails leading to waterfalls and a lovely temple. The resort was surrounded by lush trees, creating a serene atmosphere that I highly recommend.
The option to rent bikes and participate in various activities added to the enjoyment of the stay. I particularly appreciated the pleasant bonfire evenings with music, which provided a nice touch without being too loud. Overall, I highly recommend New Century Resort Jiulong Lake as a place to relax and unwind. It's conveniently located just a 45-minute taxi ride from the Ningbo train station.

GGuest UserI came here for a rest. I was originally here just for the environment. As a local, I know the environment is good. But after checking in, I was 100% satisfied. It looks very similar to Ninghai Anlan, but it feels very different. Anlan's room facilities and hardware are better. But I like this place more. It is not only built in the forest, but also in the forest. There are towering trees and gurgling water outside. I can get closer to nature. The staff are very warm and considerate. The butler service makes people feel at home. I was worried that adding WeChat would send advertisements. I didn't expect it was just a considerate butler. There was a shuttle bus guy who was also very good. I just don't know his name. The only thing that could be better is that there are too few dishes. I can't choose if I stay for a few more days.

TTangrourourouThe room is generally satisfactory, but the sound insulation is a bit poor. The noise in the corridor in the morning is very obvious. The uncle who cleans the room is very enthusiastic. The waiters in the hotel are relatively active and enthusiastic. The housekeeper VIC is also very OK. I added WeChat to connect before checking in. There is nothing else around, and takeout cannot be ordered, so all meals have to be solved in the hotel. The food in the Chinese restaurant is very good, but it is much inferior to the buffet. There is basically nothing to eat. In addition, the stairs leading to the beach in the hotel are very inconvenient for pregnant women with babies to walk up and down several times a day. I hope there will be a more convenient passage. The outdoor swimming pool is also very friendly to children of 1.3 meters. The travel photos given are quite satisfactory. I bought three more photos, which are within the acceptable range.

SSteven_WIf you’re not needing the downtown CBD area, then this hotel isn’t for you. It’s difficult to find due to one-way streets, and all the drivers had trouble finding the entrance, which was always filled with several parked cars making it more difficult for drivers to enter/exit. The views in the room are all of other buildings across the street. However, the worst part of my experience was when the hotel disabled the air conditioning in the room in the middle of the night. When I complained, I was moved to a larger room that was literally 1 degree cooler, and an electric fan was placed in the bedroom. But between 1 and 4am, the room was sweltering, as many hotels are in smaller cities around China. I understand local brands doing this to save money, but this is an international brand. When I complained the second time, an employee told me Chinese people don’t like to sleep with the air conditioning on. I know that’s not true. Finally, the buffet breakfast was disappointing compared to other hotels of the same price/category. I won’t be returning.

After arriving at the hotel, the manager saw that our family of three was staying and upgraded us to a parent-child room for free. The room was very comfortable and the hotel environment was clean. The children liked the layout of the parent-child room very much, especially the bathtub for playing with water. There was a river view outside the room window and the room was relatively quiet. The front desk service attitude was good. The overall location of the hotel is good, clean and quiet.

GGuest UserOn the day of our check-in, the hotel called in advance to confirm the approximate arrival time. They turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, put out welcome fruits and welcome meals. The service attitude was very good, and there were desserts in the evening.
I booked a twin-bed sea view room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is very good. The room is relatively quiet and the equipment is very complete! We can see the sea view, but it's a pity that it's a bit cloudy. We will stay here next time we come!

GGuest UserTop in terms of location, facilities, staff friendliness and room standards. Zero stars for the quality of the dining experience, I'm afraid. Mediocre local dishes hopelessly overpriced and way below average by Ningbonese standards. Could have gone to Hanling village down the road or a bit further into Yinzhou for the same or similar dishes at a tenth of the price (and better quality). We felt it was quite an insult and if it hadn't been rather late and we hadn't been starving, we would have gotten up again and jumped in a Didi. My workplace canteen offers similar local dishes at less than 10 kuai/dish (ok, not a valid comparison, I must admit, but even the most expensive local restos don't charge more than 50 kuai either and provide bigger size portions and tastier). The portions were tiny and starters were priced on average at 100+ kuai while the mains, the size of starters, were on average 220+ kuai. Hardly reasonable for some seasonal veggies and 10 tiny rubbery beef cubes. The white wine hadn't been cooled (happens all the time but kinda unexpected if you pay 4,000 kuai a night for a resort in one of Ningbo's prime locations) and it was a cheap bottle priced at nearly 80 kuai a glass. Having stayed in a variety of luxury lakeside venues across Zhejiang over the years, we were pretty taken aback. For me it was the worst value for money food experience during my entire time in China. We loved our suite, the fitness facilities as well as the architecture of the entire resort though. The service was pretty professional and friendly even though hardly anyone speaks English which is surprising given that this place is regularly frequented by non-Chinese speakers from the local areas nearby (and we saw plenty of those for lunch). Also, in comparison to similar properties across Ningbo and Zhejiang, the breakfast was the worst also. Never mind the continental and English style brekkies (sometimes difficult to get right, we get that), even the Chinese dishes were mediocre (such as the soups, fried items etc) which was surprising. Should we return (we practically live down the road), we'll not spend a single penny on food in this place.

excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended.

the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink
the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue
during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option.
I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel.

JJamieI booked the Seclusive Life resort for a 2 night weekend getaway while I am working in Zhejiang. It was a beautiful, relaxing experience. The mountains were so lush and green. The best part of the resort was the staff. Everyone was so helpful. I do not speak Chinese but we were able to communicate via WeChat very easily. The staff really went above and beyond to make my experience comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good. I ordered my meals a day in advance and the staff sent me a message when my food was prepared. I enjoyed the pool that is filled with cold mountain water. I did some hiking starting at the resort and really enjoyed the mountain scenery. Unfortunately the tub did not work in my room and there was a lot of mold in the shower but I think that is unavoidable in this humid climate. At the end of my stay the staff was about to help me arrange a driver to Xeudou Temple and Zhongcun Scenic area. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed, stress free getaway. One note, there are a lot of stairs (193 to my room) to get to the cabins so anyone with mobility issues will need to be sure to reserve a room they can reach. Again, ***** for the staff. Super.
