Fenyves Yacht Club Superior

I was disappointed with the Fenyves Yacht Club and will not come here again. So first the good points: The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. I also ate in the restaurant once in the evening and it was very tasty. The room is basically nice, even if it is a bit small. The immediate proximity to Lake Balaton is also nice. Now the bad points: There is no safe. Secondly, and this is absolutely unacceptable: It is dirty. Everything in the dining room is dirty, e.g. the chairs, the tablecloths, some of the cutlery, the windows. AND: my room was not cleaned at all. Not even the toilet was clean when I arrived. And that is an absolute NO GO! Interestingly, at the beginning there was a thread of used dental floss on the floor. This was obviously a legacy from the previous resident. And when I left the hotel after four days, the dental floss was still on the floor. LAUGH. So it was not cleaned at all. Only the towels were changed. Yes, of course something like that is completely unacceptable and I strongly advise the hotel operator to take action. Perhaps they should hire other cleaning staff or explain to the current staff exactly how they should do their job. Conclusion: This hotel is definitely not recommended, especially as it is relatively expensive and the price/performance ratio is not right due to the level of dirt.
