Disappointed in all honesty. The room itself was as expected, nice design and very spacious. Housecleaning was below par as there was still rubbish on the floor after I had returned in the evening, 2 nights in a row. Had to wait a few minutes for the shower to get warm. No toothbrushes in the bathroom. Miscommunication between staff about payment which resulted in a very unnecessary late night phone call from the front desk. Further miscommunication about parcel delivery. One day it was brought straight to the room, the next day it was against hotel policy. Asked for help with luggage for check out, never came. Very far from the ritz experience.

I would like to share my wonderful experience of staying at Excelsior Hotel Resort&Spa in Baku this June. I booked 4 nights (12-16 June) as I was planning since long time ago to visit Baku with my mom. I selected Excelsior based on reviews on *********** and its facilities. I must say I did not regret a second to have made this choice :) the hotel haz amazing interior design, superb breakfast service (thank you, team and Chef Zohra), amazing swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) and spa amenities. I was super happy to celebrate my birthday in the hotel and the staff surprised me in the evening by bringing a cake and champagne to our room. It was such a beautiful gesture I will never forget:) overall, the staff is one of the best I met in my life caring, attentive, responsive and friendly. I recommend Excelsior to anyone who travels to Baku for business or leisure. Ludmila, Ukraine. June 2023.

The hotel's location itself is a huge selling point for tourists but the quality of services provided were also excellent. The staff was extremely cooperative, specially Samir, Nicat & Kamil. Whereas the breakfast lady, Aidah, was also the sweetest person I have ever come across, she is extremely passionate about her job, which is reflective in the manner she serves you your meal; always with a bright smile on her face. I would definitely choose Sapphire, if I am to ever visit Baku again.

The hotel is not bad. The room was big. The cleaning was held daily, the refreshment of drinking water and the waste materials in the bathroom (gel, soap, shampoo, tooth). Breakfast is uniform, but the choice is. The hotel administration decided our question very quickly and quickly by moving to another room. Before leaving without questions provided weights for weighing baggage. The transfer from and to the airport cost 30 manats and was implemented very quickly. There is always a person who speaks Russian. Generally recommend this hotel.
