Drain cleaner- of the rooms sampled, 75% the ensuite bathrooms offered exotic essence of sweaty boot filled with sump oil sitting on a radiator. Mystic meg- when you check out the bill may appear to be un-connected to your booking terms. A hi-viz jacket. Crossing the road out front in rush hour is akin to zebras crossing the Limpopo - one error and you'll not get a second chance. It was my very first trip with family and also i choose Baku for that. I was already staying at another hotel which was not good at all so Me and My Family decided to go for a good breakfast and then look for a better Hotel. Thats how we ended up at Wyndham Garden just to have Breakfast. Breakfast time was over but Shukur gave us an opportunity to order by Menu. Here comes Nijat who open the entire Buffet for 4 of us and made our morning great. Husyn came up with an amazing coffee. While sipping our coffee me and my wife decided to book this Hotel for the rest of our stay. Mr Steve came personally to welcome us and i shared this story with him. What a great Guy Mr Steve is the GM. Rooms are clean. Pool is to die for. Gym is clean and up to date. The only this we miss was Spa. Above all the Staff. Ibrahim, Shukur, Nijat, Huseyn, Lamam and last but not the least Mr Steve. Thank you all for making our trip the best.

Overall service was good No bellboy for luggage picking and dropping. Mir was a a very good person who helped us in breakfast and was very sweet. One lady was there at reception, i don’t remember her name but she was very harsh and bot kind. This made us feel uncomfortable and bad a bad experience.

Rested with her husband in Baku at the end of June and very glad that the Diplomat hotel was chosen for accommodation. Of course, the first advantage of the hotel is the location in the very heart of the hotel. Near the metro, bus stops, to the Old City, Boulevard and Trade can be reached on foot. In the hotel itself very polite staff, rooms are clean, comfortable - we had a combined with a separate bedroom and work area, in the bathroom there are all the facilities, on request can also provide all necessary. Breakfasts on the 9th floor with views of the city panoramic and sea. The hotel itself has a quiet atmosphere, very comfortable, a lot of shops and cafes next to the hotel.

We arrived on the 22 and was welcomed by ismail and checked in by shams from reception both were super nice and instantly gave us one of the best first impression any one can ask for. Our first day we had shawarma from black city and it was the best shawarma we ever had and made us go back again for the taste of it several times. Definitely recommend every one to try. We had the best service by our special favorite orkhan who was super friendly and the team made sure we get the best service. We had to just look once and literally the staff comes running to help. 10/10 for the attentiveness and details of the black city staff. We tried green house but the food is same as white city. Would have been amazing if they had a different cuisine than white city. We had the best shisha made by Hussain who was very kind but didn’t get the same smile and sweetness from the other staff in green house. Service was not bad but as we had an amazing experience from black city where all the staff are super attentive was a little down fall. We had dinner in white city and couldn’t order anything else after we tried the honey baby chicken which was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch twice in white city but the service was super slow due to lack of staff but David while we noticed it was definitely a time of rush he had done amazing while doing the service with a very energetic smile and a very positive vibe. The hotel has a beautiful steam room, sauna and a pool. I met gulshan from spa while I went for sauna who always was super attentive kind with a gorgeous smile. It is beautiful to go for a walk out side the hotel as it’s near a park with ocean views. We had met amazing locals as well as everyone we met were super kind. The hotel has beautiful garden and greenery around the property. We usually take pictures in every country we go but we fell in love with the gardens and the colours around we took pictures just out side the hotel. Lots of mini butterflies and just super pretty and beautiful colorfulness around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you love mirrors this would be a perfect place as the hallway to room are filled with huge mirrors. The only problem we faced was that the hotel didn’t have a eu plug and we had to take a walk to get them on the first day but other than that didn’t have any issues. Lastly was checked out by Orkhan from reception who was funny and sweet asked us about our stay and had a good last impression as well. All together a great team at marriot and definitely would recommend to stay as the hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and to top of has amazing staff with delicious food. Personally this was the best vacation 💕

The front desk service is very patient and the check-in will help you bring your luggage to the room. The hotel’s pick-up service was booked in advance and the driver arrived at the airport in advance. The hotel is fully equipped with good breakfast and a shopping mall. The food delivery service is also very special, a good stay experience👍

I lost my phone while taking a taxi. The lobby manager seemed to have helped me find the taxi in the app through his connections, and the phone was returned to me.
