Red Lion

Myself and my husband visited for one night, we came our motorbike, there was unfortunately no parking but plenty of parking nearby. I messaged ahead of our arrival to see if there was a possibility or checking in early due to being sweaty and wanting to freshen up after the journey, we did manage to get into the room early which was great. Fantastic room, they had thought everything, there wasn’t just tea and coffee in the room, but hot chocolate, cordial, apple and orange juice, porridge and biscuits, excellent selection. Lovely beer garden in the sun, we didn’t eat but from what we saw it all looked lovely. The staff where lovely and friendly, and they love a banter. we would definitely recommend and would stop here again if we come back.
The Devonshire Arms
4.1/560 Reviews
It is only over one kilometer away from the 05 version of ”Pride and Prejudice”. Walking along the path, the scenery is excellent. The hotel is clean and tidy, and there is a country pub downstairs with Western food. It is much cheaper than the nearby Cavendish Hotel.
The H Boutique Hotel

Amazing and gorgeous hotel in the heart of Bakewell. Very spacious room and the food is to die for. Basic breakfast continental is included but please whatever you do get the full English or the eggs Benedict as both are presented well and taste delicious. Everything is within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel. The only downside is the parking which is located approximately 50m from the hotel which needs to be booked via the PayByPhone app 806388 Granby road for around £5 for 12 hours or if you are still that way inclined does take cash There is a couple of fish and chip shops within a stones throw of the hotel and the traditional Bakewell tart shop around 2 mins away which is a must. The onsite pizzas are delicious as well as the chips and Bakewell pudding which were brought up to our room for us. Another plus is that if you stay in the hotel you get a discount off of this. The staff are very friendly and helpful with nothing being too much Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with good food and finely located and would definitely return to stay again.
The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell, Derbyshire
4.4/5105 Reviews
This is a hotel with traditional British architecture. It is located in the center of the town and is very convenient for visiting the town. We stayed on the third floor and had to walk up the stairs, but we could ask them to help carry the luggage up. The room was small but nostalgic. If you expect it to be like a big hotel, you might be disappointed, but this is a place the British love. The breakfast is good. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this choice!
Lathkil Hotel

Went over to the Lathkil area evening. Intended to just call in somewhere for a drink. When we arrived at the Lathkil Hotel we decided to eat too. It was quite busy but we secured a table. Not eaten there for years although we call in sometimes for a drink. the meal was fabulous- tasty, hot, delicious food with a home cooked look. reasonably priced too. lots of choice on the menu. staff very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful. …..and what amazing views!! The Hotel is situated in beautiful countryside but there is no view better than the panoramic one you see from the restaurant dining room windows. Would highly recommend
