Motel 6 Bakersfield, CA - South

This hotel seems great from the front , until you walk in and realize that the hotel is racist against small framed Caucasian women. They make up their own rules as they go. Rules that are not listed on their website. Every person who enters the property must have an ID that can be scanned into the system, and if you don't have one you can't be there . So I've paid for my room, have my id, but my husbamd who doesn't have one due to a ticket is not allowed to enter my room ! Absolutely absurd, I understand them needing to know who will be at the hotel but to have to scan every guest is nowhere listed on their website , this apps website, or anywhere else online that I've been able to locate . Terrible terrible customer service here! I would not recommend to anyone

Hotel was amazing place is quiet room was clean

Well the shower had no water pressure but the water was hot so the beds were hard asf... and lumpy...and the people staying next to us were clearly smoking in there non-smoking room cuz you can smell the smoke come in to our room threw the conjoined door between our rooms and all of the homeless people getting high right on the drive ways as we drive to and from the hotel

Bad cushions, they do not have extra pillows, just two in bad condition - Homeless people outside of the hotel does not provide the safety feeling

I am usually a very tolerant person but this stay at this motel 6 pushed me to my limits. It just seems the owner of the property has total disregards for the guests and does not care anymore. Everything was bad about this place and I mean everything. I wish I could upload pictures of the room, sink, shower tub and bed and not to forget that moldy, dusty, smoky smell. My son got sick in the morning. We did not get any sleep and left in the morning immediately.

Homeless shelter This place was ghetto and had lots of sketchy characters at all hours of the night lurking around. The first room I was assigned smelled like cigarettes and had a missing tv not to mention all the cigarette holes in the curtain. Second room did not fully close door all the way and the door itself would lock me out everytime I stepped outside and had to reprogram my key to enter it. Honestly this place should be ready to be demolished because it felt like a homeless shelter.
