Dit is een hotel direct bij het centrum van Bakau. Daar merk je in het hotel helemaal niets van. Omringd met prachtige bomen, een groot zwembad, prachte Afrikaanse stijl huisjes en ga zo maar door. Niet all incl. Ontbijt is karig maar als je daar een lunch of diner besteld, krijg je daar geen spijt van. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en niet slijmerig. Vragen ook nergens om. De manager moet nog wel leren hoe hij zijn auto gaat parkeren, dat is echt irritant. Misschien is hij er niet meer. Kortom in februari was het hotel incl ontbijt €34,00 per dag en we hadden een echt Afrikaans huisje, omringd met prachtige bomen..

Hi liebe Trip Gemeinde, Ich kann leider nur jeden abraten, vom Hotel. Das ist definitiv kein hate oder sonst irgendwas sondern Realität. Ich weiß das daß diese Hotels nicht der sonstige Anspruch ist aber die sprengen wirklich alles. Es ist dreckig, die Betten sind unsauber. Und nein ich übertreibe nicht, wer möchte kann gern weiter Fotos von mir bekommen. Es gibt definitiv keine Klimaanlage, auch wenn es versprochen wird es gibt es nicht…. Der Swimmingpool ist wirklich nicht zu empfehlen und der Strand bist mehr Felsen als Strand

Wij, mijn vrouw en ik, waren januari/februari 12 dagen in Gambia. We waren te gast bij African Village. Het is een leuk basic resort gelegen in een rustig gedeelte van Gambia. Een leuk diep zwembad met bar erbij, voldoende bedjes. Het ontbijt is karig maar prima, wel vers. Je kunt ook een goede massage krijgen voor weinig geld. Omgerekend een tien euro voor een uur, onze masseuse was Maria. Top. Verder hebben we met Simon tours een excursie naar de oostelijke kant van Gambia gemaakt. Hier zie je het echte Gambia, dit was heel leuk. We hebben ook krokodillen, nijlpaarden, bavianen en chimpansees gezien. Een aanrader.
