Location very good, room very uncomfortable no chairs or anywhere to sit in the room, the bed has a wooden frame around it so you could not sit on the edge of the bed, if you wanted to have a drink out of the mini bar there was nowhere to sit and drink it, the room has a massive double bath in it which we used once but was a big waste of space, would rather the room to be more comfortable, it was one of the luxury rooms, and to sit down and have a drink of wine we had to go to the beach. Breakfast was a 10 minute walk away to a separate restaurant. For 90 Euros per night excluding breakfast, breakfast was extra

A stylish hotel with spartan design, stunning sea views, and a fantastic location right next to the seafront LOCATION: Located in the heart of North beach and with easy access to the castle and all key points of interest DINE + DRINK: Lovely rooftop bar that is not to be missed as well as a chilled-out cafe /lounge near the lobby - both with stunning views of the castle and ocean ROOM: We stayed in Room 301, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Million-dollar views of the sea and castle from the cute balcony attached to the room; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good cosmetics FACILITIES: The biggest letdown was the very pool ‘Gym’ which was nothing more than a tiny room with a couple of worn-out machines! Empezaré por la valoración positiva ; reconocer que la idea es original; dormir bajo el cielo estrellado tiene su encanto y un punto de romanticismo muy atractivo para parejas que buscamos hacer algo original y diferente. También sería injusto no hacer mención a la excelente amabilidad con la que el personal nos trató. Siempre atentos y con una sonrisa que nunca perdieron. El servicio fue, indiscutiblemente, inmejorable (mencionaría a la chica que nos hizo el check in y luego servía las cenas, pero se le olvidó pedirle el nombre, aunque en general fueron todos muy muy atentos y amables). La parte negativa ; las condiciones de la burbuja ! Si buscas una experiencia inolvidable, pues será mejor que estés hecho a las temperaturas que ni el mismísimo Satanás sería capaz de soportar. Mi pareja y yo estuvimos alojados dos noches, y es literalmente IMPOSIBLE estar dentro de la burbuja mientas Lorenzo asoma el hocico. No sé si el problema fue por el mal estado de la máquina de aire o porque no es capaz de contrarrestar las altas temperaturas que alcanza esa burbuja; pero vamos, olvidaros de la idea de estar dentro de la burbuja sintiendo confort y bienestar, porque no lo encontrareis. Honestamente, considero que deberían hacer una inversión para mejorar, por un lado cuidar los detalles de las parcelas (gravilla y trozos de ladrillo y restos de la obra son los motivos decorativos de la zona ajardinada) , y sobretodo, buscar otra fórmula para acondicionar mejor la burbuja.

The warm and professional service and the thoughtful facilities do not meet the internal quality of the hotel. What I want to say is that my husband did not get more in return, and I think we could not pass when changing all the impressions.
We ate very well, awesome Corvina estuary and huge grilled Sigri La Litas, so we repeated the dinner plate 3 times.
The breakfast used to insert PEGA is not what we like, so we are pretty sure that we will return without a contract breakfast;)

MMuchTravelledBoltonI found it hard to rate this hotel as we had a really mixed experience. We have stayed in various places in Peníscola over the last 20 years but as this time was the first without our children, we thought we would give this hotel a try. Positives- * The staff (all but 1) were exceptionally accommodating, helpful and polite. Reception and the pool bar in particular. * The rooftop pool is very well run with plenty of sun loungers, music, a pool bar and lovely views of the town. We loved spending time up there. The staff were very attentive and the fruit smoothies a nice touch. Suncream was available if you need a top up. * The location is excellent, very central. *The dining room is to congested but the food was very good and the chefs worked incredibly hard. Other comments: * The rooms are quite dated. We were lucky to have a higher room with a decent view but lots of rooms did looked to just have street views. * The shower door was quite a strange design and water could easily escape onto the floor. * The restaurant was very busy which is fine but the food area was quite small for the amount of people dining. It became very crowded and they kept running out of things. It got very congested. * Because of the crowds, we preferred to sit in the outdoor courtyard. One evening, we walked in (towards the end of service) and asked for a table outside as on entering, I had seen a few free. The waitress refused and said they were all taken and led us to an indoor table. I walked out and showed her a table that had just been vacated and 2 empty tables. She said the two empty tables were for bar customers (there was not one person in the bar) and we would have to sit inside. Inside was noisy and busy so we left. *We booked a session in the spa but there was no shade at all and it was very warm so we left. I had to go back to reception and explain this as there were no staff at all in the spa-apparently it was their day off. *The hotel bar is more like a canteen with no atmosphere at all which is a shame, especially for people who don't want to venture out. I would have expected some basic entertainment or music and more subtle lighting. We went in once to get a drink in the evening but no member of staff appeared so we left. Overall, a lovely holiday but I would not recommend this hotel to visitors who like to sit in the hotel during the evenings.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The room appeared on the main photo of Tripadvisor was excellent. The room was available with bathroom gel and champagne and rested when they came to acicate the room. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. ¡ We would doubtless repeat it!

娄娄All aspects of the four-star hotels in Spain are already good. But to remind friends behind, this hotel will treat a single room of 10 square meters as a double room of 18 square meters for you. Keep this in mind. Either let him decide in advance what kind of room he will live in, or don’t decide this hotel. I will post a picture for you to see for yourself.

GGuest UserHave stayed in 3 other Servigroup Hotels, all with good service but it has to be said the reception staff at this Servigroup hotel were brilliant. Special mention to Lys, ‘Jesus & Sara. Friendly, knowledgeable, extremely helpful with all their duties carried out in a professional manner. Stayed in the Superior room 5506 with a beautiful view of the sea and the famous castle. Bed very comfortable, walk in shower, hairdryer & toiletries supplied. No kettle in the room. WIFI strong. Cleaning of room done very well. Huge selection at breakfast & dinner. If you don’t want to eat dinner you can swap to lunch instead. Staff all round from dining hall, cleaners and especially reception all friendly and courteous. Walk to Castle around 20 mins. Plenty of restaurants, cafes around the whole area. If flying from Gatwick, fly to Valencia. Out of the airport follow signs to subway Metro trains. Take train to Xativa, €1.75 per person. From Xativa get off train and head for the mainline station Estacio del Nord. From here take train to Benicarlo-*****cola. Tickets cast €9.85 per person on the Renfe website or through Trainline where there is a small charge as well. Journey takes about 1 hr 55min. No refreshments on the train, make sure to buy water or snacks before boarding. Come out of the station, take taxi to hotel, journey about 15/20 minutes, cost €15. If flying from London Stanstead, you would need to take flight to Castillon then take the train to *****carlo. Lovely place to visit and highly recommend this hotel. We had a good holiday. Many thanks.

GGuest UserVery nice place to stay right on the Mediterranean. This is not a historical Parador like some of the Paradors, but is modern with a great location, within walking distance to the center of town. Our room was on the main floor, but there is an elevator to access the upper floor if necessary. Our room was somewhat dated, but very clean, quiet and comfortable with a big bathroom. The room had a safe and mini fridge available in the room. The room had a musty smell when the air conditioner wasn't on, or if we didn't have the patio door open to air out. The food served for breakfast and dinner was very good and didn't take long to get our order once we placed the order, but there were times when the staff was busy and it took us awhile to have someone take our order. Staff was always pleasant, spoke English, and worked very hard. It was great having free parking on the hotel lot.
