Baishan Hotels with Breakfast

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Park Hyatt Ski Resort in Changbaishan, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my check-in process was smooth and pleasant. Their friendliness and attentiveness made me feel right at home. Throughout my stay, the staff remained incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with any request, whether it was recommendations for local dining or arranging transportation. The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities truly reflects the high standards of the Park Hyatt brand. The resort’s facilities were also impressive, with a fantastic outside hot spring in the snow that provided a perfect retreat after a long day on the slopes. The dining options were delightful, featuring a range of delicious cuisine that catered to all tastes. Each meal was a culinary delight, and the service was impeccable. Another highlight was the ski access; the location is ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers. The staff at the ski resort provided excellent guidance and support, making it easy to enjoy the slopes. Overall, my stay at the Park Hyatt Ski Resort in Changbaishan was nothing short of magical. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway in the mountains. I can’t wait to return!

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at whilst skiing in Changbaishan. With it’s own ski hire desk and the cost of hire and you ski pass included in the rate (this is not well advertised), all you need to do is grab your gear and take a few steps out to the lifts. The hotel itself is huge and the rooms well presented. There are good food options in the hotel and the small town, just outside the door, has a good few more. The breakfast buffet was really good with a wide choice for everyone. We did not sample the restaurants in the hotel though. Only small let down was the slight end of season feel when we were there. We had club access but there was a reluctance to keep restocking the beer and wine as it was used up. Not the end of the world but it was frustrating when there was a group of us wanting to enjoy a few apres-ski drinks. There is also an outdoor pool which was lacking in heat on a couple of occasions, not sure if this was because they perceived it was quiet and not being regularly used. These were relatively minor grips though. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all in all would be very happy to return.

The overall experience of staying at Changbaishan Wanda Jinhua Resort Hotel is still very good. The hotel environment is very good, the lobby is large, and you can store a lot of luggage. There is snow outside and the scenery is beautiful. It is very close to the ski resort, water park, and Hallasan Hot Spring. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and tidy. There is also a balcony with snow. The layout of the toilet is unreasonable, and there should be a separate shower room. Some facilities in the room are old, such as the door, which is sometimes difficult to open after swiping the room card. There are many meals in the restaurant on the first floor and the executive lounge on the second floor. The water quality of the swimming pool is not clean and too shallow. In addition, there are too many people in the ski service center in the town, which is messy and poorly managed. It is recommended to build a private ski resort like several other hotels. Everything else is very good. I highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. We will stay in this hotel in the future!

The room is very nice. The bedside and some corners are clean and dust-free. The carpet is a little dirty but acceptable. It is recommended to remove the carpet to make it look cleaner. The facilities are a little old. The air conditioner is not cold enough and the hair dryer is a little broken. It would be better if it could be improved. However, it is understandable that the hotel has been around for so many years. In addition, there is only one set of shower gel and shampoo for two people staying in the hotel, which is not enough. Fortunately, the customer service attitude is very good. It was delivered immediately after the telephone communication. It is very humane. The breakfast is very good and nutritionally balanced. I will come again for business trips in the future.

So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick. Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice

This hotel is really a surprise! I would like to especially praise Miss Zhang Huixin at the front desk, who arranged everything for me very well! The lady not only patiently and meticulously introduced the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions to me, but also coordinated and arranged my itinerary in a timely manner. The hotel's car pick-up and drop-off service is also very good. Miss Zhang Huixin will communicate and coordinate in time. One night, it was very late, and she also arranged for a master to come over. It was really warm, especially when I was traveling alone, giving me a full sense of security! She also took the initiative to ask about the purpose and itinerary of my trip, and provided me with many thoughtful suggestions based on this. Her suggestions were both practical and thoughtful, making me feel the warmth of home. The hotel also arranged a rich itinerary, which made this trip really full of surprises and constantly surprised me! Changbai Mountain in winter is really worth coming! The service of the lady is like a warm spring breeze, which makes people happy and comfortable. She won my praise and trust for this hotel with her professionalism and enthusiasm. If I have the opportunity to come to this city again, I will definitely choose this hotel again ✈️✈️✈️✈️

The room is nice, the bed is big enough to sleep two adults and one child. The breakfast is rich and can be brought back to the room. The ski house can go directly to the ski slope, but the beginner's ski slope is a little difficult, and you have to walk a long way, which is a bit inconvenient. The place to change shoes is too crowded and too small. There is nothing to play behind the hotel. It is better to have a small playground in the backyard of the Sheraton Hotel. Moreover, it is located in a remote location in the resort area, and it is too far to go to the town. The shuttle bus is super inconvenient. You have to wait outside by yourself. The service staff will not watch it. When you ask for help, they actually say that this kind of thing is not their job. There is no airport pick-up and drop-off, just a bus, fixed point, and the round-trip time is not caught up. The daily flights are not flexible enough and not enough. In short, the shuttle bus and the airport bus are super dissatisfied. Hallasan Hot Spring is very small indoor, mostly outdoor, and there is no place for sweat steaming. In short, the experience is not very good, and there is no service and feeling of a star hotel at all.

The stay was very satisfactory. The location of Sheraton Hotel is relatively quiet, but it is not far from the town by foot. The air is good and it is nice to walk around. Special thanks to Xiaohui from the concierge department and Xiaochen, the manager. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, they took the initiative to greet me and introduced the various services provided by the hotel. They also added WeChat, reminded me of various precautions, and upgraded me to the executive floor. Take the cable car to the top of the mountain, and you can also take pictures of the distant view of Changbai Mountain. Play the slide, which is super exciting. Choose to go directly to the hot spring at 1 pm. It is refreshing to soak in the hot spring when there are fewer people during the off-peak hours.

The hotel is just inside the gate of Changbai Mountain as shown in the picture The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps) It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay. The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

I brought my kids to ski, and I chose this hotel based on the reviews. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. There was no one to pick up the luggage at the door. The hotel lobby was very small and could not be called a lobby. There was a table for check-in, and a staff member sat there, just like a homestay. If you expect 5 stars for your trip, you will be disappointed. Room and transportation: The room size is OK, the heating is too strong and too hot, even when the heating is turned off, it is hot. It is said that every room can overlook Changbai Mountain, which is the biggest selling point of the hotel. Our room is on the 5th floor, which is the same floor as the lobby. The window is partially blocked by the roof, but Changbai Mountain can be seen clearly, beautiful, but not completely unobstructed. If you don't care about this, if you travel with your children, it is recommended to choose a hotel at the foot of the mountain. You can go skiing and snow with your children. If you stay in the MGallery, you need to take a shuttle bus when you travel, which takes about 5-6 minutes by car to the resort, excluding the waiting time. Dining: The restaurant is also small, and there are not many things to eat Service: I thought the service would be very good. The first stop of my trip to Northeast China was this hotel, and I stayed for 2 nights. No one called in advance, added WeChat in advance, added after arriving at the hotel, and the service was average, answered whatever I asked, cold. Just like the WeChat name Arctic Ocean 😮💨On the day of check-out, because the child's skiing class was until 12:30, I asked on WeChat if I could check out later at 2 o'clock, but they refused, saying that the room was full and could not be delayed. I said yes, it was the first time I encountered such a straightforward rejection of delaying the check-out, and immediately changed the topic to ask me which room, and agreed to delay the check-out again. It was a world of difference from the service of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the North Slope for the next 2 nights. But the hotel's room service is commendable, cleaning the room, responding quickly, and the service attitude is enthusiastic.
