We stayed here the first night of our Camino. You can walk directly from the hotel onto the beach behind it, and from there you can swim in the bay. The cool water felt amazing on tired legs. This hotel appeared to be a step up from other properties nearby. We had the wider size twin beds in our twin share room and the rooms have enough space to spread out a bit. Our room had a small balcony which was a nice touch. Furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but the breakfast was fantastic and the hotel had a lovely level of service.

Terrible hotel, filthy, stained walls and horrible furnishings. We stayed here on our Camino it was not relaxing. Really uncomfortable beds and poor facilities. Breakfast is basic and food is a poor standard. Would not recommend to any camino traveler.

pics look great but place is very rundown and furnishings are old and dirty good location would really not have stayed there if I had seen the place first staff is very nice and accommodating though restaurant and bar area dingy restaurant only open 8pm to 10pm

We spent two nights here (giving ourselves a rest day) while cycling the Portuguese Camino. The hotel, like us, when we arrived, is a little worn...but our rooms were clean, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the location absolutely perfect. I would stay here again.

Well located hotel directly opposite the beach, and a 15 minute stroll into the historic town centre. Room decor is a bit tired, but rooms are clean, spacious, and with free wifi. Cheerful little cafeteria/bar. Enthusiastically welcoming staff team, who gave us useful guidance on the town and its amenities.

Easy check in, very friendly reception staff. Rooms are spacious and mine over looked the lovely beach. Found several creepy crawlies in the bathroom and bedroom. Poor selection at breakfast, mostly pastries and bread.

Arrived today on our first day of our Camino organised by Santiago Ways. After reading the previous reviews, we were apprehensive as to what they in store for us. We were immediately pleasantly surprised. Reception staff - excellent, pleasant, efficient and tolerant of our inability to speak but a few words of Spanish. Rooms - large, scrupulously clean and comfortable. Location- directly opposite the beach and an easy 10 minute walk to the old town - to be highly recommended! This is a lovely place to stay.

This hotel was booked by Comino Ways for my first two nights at the beginning of my Camino. The online pictures don't do the hotel justice. My room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel staff, especially Carmen at the front desk, were really wonderful. They got me checked in quickly and answered all my questions very thoroughly and in English (which made up for my lack of Spanish). I was pleasantly surprised and delighted with every aspect of this hotel!
