Beachfront Inn

Room with 2 comfortable queen beds, couch and small dining table. Shower was nice. Great views. Lamp did not work, manager came quickly to fix it. Quiet. Outdoor beachfront fire pit to sit at. Great for a nights sleep on the road. Good restaurants nearby. Would stay here again.

Beautiful motel on the shoreline. Pick a lake facing room. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Good coffee available with breakfast items in the morning. Lovely deck to sit on. Bailey’s Harbor is a nice little town with a cute coffee shop.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! It is locally owned and has been updated with activities for families to enjoy. We were looking for a quiet getaway for a few days and we got it. This Inn is super cute and the rooms are nice. My two teens and husband both enjoyed the stay. It was quiet with a pool, bikes, kayaks, and paddle boarding available. Everything is in walking distance and Bailey's Harbor is a cute, fun area.

friendly owners, clean. the pool is heated, they allow you to use their kayaks for free, free breakfast, coffee in the morning. Walking distance to everything on the main drag (Hwy 57). the rooms are nicely furnished. this place is right on the water of Lake Michigan. Love it here.

Honestly, I loved everything about the beachfront Inn and the staff. We locked ourselves out of our hotel and the office was closed. After a quick phone call, she saved us within minutes. Cute rooms, loved the beach and loved that I could bring my dogs with. One negative experience which is zero fault of the staff is that there was an off leash dog on the property that spooked my dog. Owners weren’t very responsible and my dog was on edge the rest of his trip because of it. All of the other dozens of dogs there were under control of their owner at all times and zero issues.

We walked into the room and, wow. A large picture window with a view of Lake Michigan and the further shores of Door County and out into the Lake. It was October, so no pool-who cares? It was an extraordinary panorama and the back area facing the water, was spectacular. There was a firepit--kinda gorgeous and gas-powered--with comfy rockers and Adirondack chairs; steps down to the small but adorable beach; and a terrific porch off of the breakfast area and shop. They had a nice selection for your complementary breakfast and other supplemental things for you to buy whenever. The room had 2 queen beds with 2 side tables, a small cafe table with 2 chairs. There was a counter with a coffee maker, microwave, and a small but adequate fridge and above it a large TV, not that we even turned it on! There was a framed out space that acted as a closet and a great bathroom. One of the best things about the whole place was chatting with the owner and the other guests. But the BEST thing was sunrise. Oh my god, the sunrise. The windows all face east and it is more than worth it to rise and shine with the sun. Only one of the 3 days we were there was cloudy, and even that was a delight. All in all, stay for the comfort, conviviality and perks, but come for the view!
