Tiki Villas Rainforest Lodge - Adults Only

We absolutely loved our 4-night stay at Tikivillas in Uvita. Our beautiful, spacious room had two private balconies, an outdoor shower (wow!) & kitchenette with coffee machine. The staff was so friendly - we especially adored Gerald and Adrian. Fantastic food!

Beautiful tropical retreat in the midst of the Costa Rican jungle, with the opportunity to be awaken by and view howler monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife. Love the eco-centric focus that the management team have implemented at Tiki Villas. Make sure to spare some fruit for Godzalena, their resident iguana!

Tiki Villas is a wonderful, soulful and relaxing resort. I stayed for 5 days will my wife and we have never relaxed so deeply. The surrounding nature is world class, can’t wait to go back! Big should out the the hotels GM, Serge, and his wonderful staff 🫶🏻

I can't believe these reviews are for the same hotel we stayed at this week. This is not a top ranked hotel. In fact it was one of the worst we ever stayed at On the positive side the grounds and the lobby are beautiful. We were so excited when we arrived. However that was before we saw the room and interacted with the staff. The bathroom literally had black mold and peeling paint. There was also mold on the curtains in the bedroom. There was no room near the sink to put personal items and the shelves that were supposed to to be on the wall were missing. In addition there was a leather plastic glade air freshener in the closet. I've posted pictures. As far as service, We were shown to our room and told the comforter that went on the bed wasn't ready yet and was still in the wash. The gentleman who showed us to the room also mentioned we were missing coffee. He left the room. Several hours went by and still no comforter or coffee. In addition we realized that we only had two towels for four people. When we went to dinner at the hotel, we asked about the comforter and we're handed it to bring back as we left the lobby. The poor service continued throughout the stay. One day, Housekeeping came before we left the room and they never returned. We reached out early afternoon and asked for more towels, since there were only two when we checked in the day before. We were told that they would bring them "now". When we returned to the room several hours later the towels were still not there. I had to go to the lobby to get them myself. The following day housekeeping never showed up. We told the employees in the lobby who gave us more towels but never sent anybody to get the dirty towels or empty the garbages. At this point we mentioned that we experienced issues every day since we arrived but they did not seem very interested. In addition to the room, the lounge chairs around the pool were not in good shape. Some were completely missing cushions. Others had large holes burned into the covers. Do not rely on the prior reviews. This is not somewhere you want to stay!

It's a nice place and location, close to main road and Uvita. Great views and comfortable villages. Everything was clean, and there was a good breakfast. The staff was always lovely and offer great service. I recommend the place to have a nice and quiet visit
