If your idea of heaven is a luxurious apartment, surrounded by rainforest, being woken by howler monkeys, relaxing in crystal clear swimming pools and walking alone along a 2km stretch of pristine blue flag Pacific beach then Elan at Ballena Beach is for you !! I still can't quite believe that Elan is the only accommodation with private, direct access to this amazing stretch of beach, we made memories that will last a lifetime.

Home away from home, away from the hustle and bustle amidst nature, beauty and peace. The condos are huge, amazingly furnished and stocked with all you need not have a worry on your mind. The property manager Camila was extremely responsive, accommodating and courteous. Will definitely come back here again to explore more and relax. What a place!

We loved this place! The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. But the location is even better! There is a pool on the grounds, but we loved walking on the beach that it is only a few steps from the buildings. The beach is practically empty, and you feel like you are in a different world! Camilia and everyone in the office were helpful and wonderful people - Camilia specifically arranged all our tours and she was the best! She also had really good recommendations for restaurants! Overall, a beautiful place to stay - highly recommended. We hope to be back!

This condo was spotless and had everything you needed. Private beach and pool which were both spotless. The beach is stunning and just a walk through the jungle to get there. So much wildlife. Howler monkeys by the pool!! Amazing and the Conceirge were extremely helpful.

We had five nights in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment is gorgeous and really well equipped. The pool area is beautiful with different pools - very shallow baby pool, deep pool with seating ledge and a jacuzzi. Direct access to the beach which is basically deserted but beautiful. You walk through a stretch of jungle to get to it, where we saw howler monkey and crabs and lizards. The one thing to note on the beach is that the currents are very strong. Camilla was really responsive and friendly, adding good service to the good qualities.

Het is niet goedkoop, maar je krijgt echt wel waar voor je geld: een geweldig appartment op een prachtige plaats. Wij reizen heel wat, maar dit staat echt in onze top 10 aller tijden. Je loopt zo de jungle in en hoort 's nachts allerlei interessante geluiden (brulapen!). Een korte wandeling en je bent op het strand. Ga er vroeg in de ochtend heen en wandel langs het (prive)strand. Beloon jezelf daarna met een duik in de zee. Je hebt hier wel een auto nodig: restaurants zijn niet direct op loopafstand en het is handiger de inkopen in Uvita te doen en zelf te koken. Het zwembad is ook prachtig. De faciliteiten in het appartement zijn top, inclusief droger wat echt een voordeel is in dit klimaat.
