Canavida Villa was amazing! The views were stunning, the space was clean and beautifully designed and the host was incredibly welcoming. We loved every moment.

Beautiful setting and wonderful host. She had a wonderful vision and brought it to fruition. The view is unparalleled. Well worth the climb up the mountain.

Pure Paradise at Casa Oropéndola – A Dream Getaway We stayed at Casa Oropéndola at Canavida Resort from March 31st to April 4th, and it was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked into the lush hills of Uvita with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds, then taking a dip in our own private pool while watching the sunrise—unreal. The 2-bedroom home is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and eco-luxury. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home. We spent most of our time outside on the patio or in the pool, soaking in the peaceful vibes. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beaches, waterfalls, and the national park, but still feels totally secluded and serene. The drive up is part of the adventure (definitely recommend a 4x4), and the views are 100% worth it. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. If you're considering a stay here—do it. You won’t regret it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!

What an excellent property! The family that runs it is dedicated to making sure all guests (including kids) have a great vacation. The property is fairly new, and the owners are always improving it. Behind the condos is a grassy area with a trampoline and badminton—perfect for kids or your inner child. Our six-year-old loved the pool and trampoline. At dawn and dusk, the property comes alive with the wildlife you come to Costa Rica to see. Have your binoculars ready by the pool deck for the show—and don’t miss the sunsets and starry skies. The condos were clean and well-equipped for cooking. The propane grills had everything we needed to grill out. It’s about 5KM/3Mi up the mountain, a 20-minute drive. We visited in March 2025 and used a driver (Caleb—highly recommend) to get up and down. It’s around 10Mil or $20 each way, worth it for the incredible views. I’ve traveled the world and this place will forever stand out. I’m already planning to stay for a month or two in the future. The team was excellent—very communicative and helpful—and even arranged everything with our driver Caleb, who was amazing and always available, including early morning pickups.
