The overall staff services provided is excellent including the receptionists, male and female,all of them are showing me their smiling face while asking for information especially Robert, allaisteir and few female, l can’t remember her names. Room facility is a bit run down and no renovation done. Hotel building exteriors looks good but room interior is with 80s furniture . The water colour is yellow especially the toilet and wash basin, l need to flush for 5 6 times, then the water becomes clearer. Bath towel upon request from laundry , not available in the room. The bathtub is leaking at the corner edges each time we took our shower, the floor nearby the toilet bowl will be watery and can’t comfortably use the toilet as our bare foot will get wet. With the rate l paid through trip.com is still acceptable. Housekeeping forgot to provide the daily drinking water for my 2nd day but managed to have it after inform receptionist. Eatery areas can be find easily, there is one infront of the hotel ( famous for Sarawak laksa)and across the road, commercial shop lots with a lot of kopitiam and aircond restaurants they upgraded our room due to running high occupancy ( association rooms booking)

The Theater Hotel Kuching was a pretty solid choice for my business trip. I loved the keyless entry – no fumbling for cards at the door after a long flight! Check-in was a breeze, and the room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed to get work done and recharge. The only downside? There was a big event happening in their hall one night, and the music definitely carried. If you're a light sleeper, maybe request a room further away. But overall, a good option for a quick business trip, especially if you value convenience and a modern vibe.

Location is great because at the city center.. got steamboat nearby really close and within walking distance. The only thing i don't really like is lack of parking spots. Ac is cold, everything else is good considering the price offered. The room is just nice.

Today.. Based on check out date...i decided to go to the hotel cafe to have my breakfast.. Last trip I didn't take the breakfast even thou the price I paid including breakfast. Services and serving can be improved next time....time consuming......For suggestion, try to provide more easy access on water.. Plain water either cold or hot... Instead only a selection of coffee or tea in one time serving..... I missed the old buffet hotel breakfast at this hotel last time.. But I acceptimg the new ideas of serving breakfast by selection on provided menus.... It's good and just have to be fast.

It is beside Theater Hotel. Inside there are a lot of small rooms. So the problem is all not sound proof. Try to sleep late in the morning, but someone starts playing songs from their mobile phone loudly and then workers start talking to each other making jokes. Very inconsiderate. The management needs to know, workers are there to clean and tidy, NOT SPEAKING LOUDLY !!

Overall all is okayyy. Hope can provide toilet tissue heheee. The price is cheap so cannot complain too much but okay la for short stay.

Not available for my parents. Cannot do anything to cancel booking. So I need to extend another one night

We arrived Kuching at night time, it was hard to locate the hotel as there is no signboard, just small banner at the front lobby. The reception is on different level, to locate the lift to go to the room also a bit confusing at first. If you’re travelling with kids, this can be a bit hustle. Room has this old building smell, the water heater sometimes not working. May need to wait a little bit for it to work again after one is done. Other than that is just okey. Maybe suitable for solo or couple travellers. Not really suitable for families with kids.
