Great hotel in a good position overlooking the lake. Our only disappointment was the service in the restaurant. We booked for 7.30 ,everything good until we wanted to order dessert. The staff were too busy resetting tables next to us (as most people had finished their meal and left ) and we could not get the waiter’s attention so , in the end , after a long wait , we walked to the bar and asked for a menu. Again the staff carried on clearing and resetting tables but the menu eventually arrived after about 10 minutes. We then had a long wait for the dessert to arrive . It really spoilt our evening meal. We would book probably this hotel again but would not eat in the restaurant.

What a strange place , first reception experience ok but awful after that , first room we were given had broken furniture and missing cupboard door after complaining we were eventually moved to another but only after being told by receptionist not to fuss , second room better but chair still split. Very aggressive instructions in room about cleaning the kitchen yourself. This claims to be a 4 star hotel ! Well not like any 4 star I have ever visited, old tired furniture and fittings, no access to any of the spa facilities. Only saving grace is the pool on site. I have never been threatened with a fine if I don’t empty the bin! We won’t be back , you really need to do better
