Maybe the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The people that work here are pros. It is so nice I can't describe it. If it was up to me, its not, we would stay here for a month! Every detail is perfect They say it is a four star, but if you ask me it's a five.

I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons. The staff attitude was very elite. My room was very warm and stuffy, and there were no screens on the windows which I understand in an old hotel. I had to take bugs off my pillow to go to sleep therefore, the windows did not remain open. I went downstairs to ask if they controlled the air conditioning And the gentleman said yes what temperature do you want. When I went back upstairs, heat was coming out. The next morning, I asked at reception again if they could put the air conditioning on. She said it was not possible because it was past October one. Then she proceeded to say I know you, Americans like your air conditioning, but it is not possible! I took offense to that. I have been in Italy four times and stayed at at least 20 hotels. All in October and never had an issue with air conditioning. In fact, the next hotels I stayed at which were further in October all had the air conditioning on.

I would give this hotel 5 stars, but we got a fire alarm at 3:25 at night. Everyone gathered in bathrobes for at least 15 min in front of the hotel, while the alarm was on. No fire truck, no police and NO HOTEL PERSONAL was to be seen at any time to give directions. After the alarm stopped we went back to the room. I think we were supposed to believe that it was a false alarm

What gem of a place in Tuscany. We simply enjoyed every moment in this wonderful hotel and wanted to stay more time. The staff, the cats, the food, the pools, the room, the location: everything was just amazing. The two plus of night light in the bathroom and the key-hanger used as light switch are so great that we don't understand why no other other thought about it in the world. We even received 2 bottles of water for the trip on checkout. What an amazing place. Bravo!!!!

Such a unique and incredible hotel located in the most charming little town. Our stay was perfect from start to finish, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with our luggage’s and whatever else we needed. Our room was beautiful and unique. The furniture and design of the entire place exquisite with tons of detail everywhere you looked. The food was very good by the pool as well as the breakfast buffet. Views everywhere in the hotel were looking over the Tuscan hills. The grounds around the pool were so beautiful, they had a tennis court as well as an outdoor bar/restaurant. The main attraction, the pools, were so amazing and like nothing I’ve ever seen before, I could of stayed in all day. Overall such a wonderful place and I highly recommend.

With its amazing and professional staff, its beautiful surroundings full of history and art, the most delicate gastronomy and unique ancestral healing waters, Posta Marcucci has everything. It provides unique and beautiful experiences for all senses and means to relax and feel good. It’s a treasured venue in the middle of Tuscany and a truly wonderful and special place. Posta Marcucci is a jewel that deserves more recognition. This fantastic venue features the most sumptuous hotel, one of the best restaurants of the area, and unique (indoor and outdoor) pools and spa. They overlook the spectacular Rocca di Tentennano, a medieval tower that dominates the village of Rocca d’Orcia. At night, this architectural landscape reveals all its chams. Posta Marucci is a stunning place to pause, relax and take care of our bodies and minds. “Mens sana in corpore sano”, the Latin phrase, usually translated as “a healthy mind in a healthy body” could be Posta Marcucci’s leitmotiv.

This is a fantastic place to spend a few days when visiting the area. The building is very classy, clean, well kept and large. Our room was also large, clean and very comfortable. The staff here are excellent, very helpful and kind, nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was excellent (which can be a challenge in Italy if trying to keep you sugar intake low!), there was a lot of choice and the coffee was great too. The lunches we had were also excellent, I especially recommend the club sandwich. The thermal pools are large, hot (but not too hot) and well maintained. Again a warm thanks to all the staff who made our three day stay so very special after walking for two weeks on the Via Francigena. We will be staying here again one day!!

We were 2 couples for 4 nights and did the half Board with 4 course dinner included. (Breakfast was already included in the room rate and was superb with so many choices ) . The half board was extra for dinner however, if you didn’t do it, you could still eat at the restaurant and pay or go to one of the many restaurants within 50 Yards of Posta Marcucci in town. The hotel is actually in the little town of Bagno Vignoni .. so it was nice to walk up the hill to the small town with a few stores, a tiny church and plenty of restaurants. Albergo Posta Marcucci is a throwback on what a classy hotel would have been like in 60’s and 70’s. We loved the civility and formalness of it. The room for meals was elegant and the whole hotel was an eclectic mix of interesting artwork, furniture and room settings. Every night they lit hundreds of candles in the rooms off the lobby and they set out games and newspapers with comfy sofas and game tables . There was a bar which I think opened around 8 PM where you could put on vintage albums on a record player. The thermal pools were fabulous and they provided robes , slippers and towels to take to the huge pools. there’s also a restaurant by the pool and we had lunch there many days and also before dinner we went down for cocktails. Food was excellent. Lounge chairs a plenty. The rooms were large (we had an upgraded room and bathroom ) and plenty of closet space and huge bathroom with double sink , tub and shower (for upgraded room). Not sure what the standard room had. Linens excellent. The service was wonderful and very helpful. If you like staying at Hiltons and Marriotts not sure this is the place for you. This is an elegant , more formal hotel ( men are asked to wear long pants to dinner which was fine with us ) . Jackets were not required. Views from pools and restaurant were 2nd to none. We loved everything about this place . Parking spaces were available . We Didn’t want to leave ! took many side trips to Hilltowns close by. This area has the quintessential Tuscany views around every bend was vineyards, olive groves, sunflowers, cypress trees which led to villas and wine tasting venues. I really can’t imagine a more beautiful area.

The hotel was so much more than I expected! The pool and spa was glorious! It was so amazing to be in the perfectly warm water with the cool air and amazing views! I was a little bit bothered that I had to pay for water in the spa when I was was asked to relinquish my water that was in a glass bottle. The front desk and restaurant staff were all amazing! Restaurant & cocktails top notch, music in the bar so fun that they had a turn table to play the records. My only disappointment was that we only booked for 1 night...big mistake on my part!
