This sweet little hotel was a wonderful find for us! The hotel was built in the 1700’s and doesn’t have the amenities of most 5 star hotels we’ve stayed in, but it is rich in history, in the warm and very helpful staff, and the food is second to none in all of Italy! We have eaten in several Michelin restaurants and this chef could easily have one! We absolutely loved our 5 night stay at Hotel Corona, and will come again! Thank you Silvia, Elda, Doreen, and to the chef who spared nothing in serving amazing, delicious and artful meals! It was an experience we will never forget! Stace and Steve Physioc

We loved staying at La Corona. The room with a view over the river was wonderful. It has a amasing restaurant! And the staff was so nice, took so good care of us. Bagni di Lucca is a beautiful and quiet place, very relaxing after visiting bigger and more busy places. We really hope to be back one day.

Good location of the hotel to move to various points in the area. Presence of free parking near the property. Kindness of the receptionist. Otherwise a disaster! Outdated and undervalued building. Lots of stairs with no lift. DIRTY room and dilapidated in every detail. As soon as we arrived we found dust and dirt, spiders near the bed, hair on the sheets, stains on the pillowcases, dust on the floor, finished toilet paper roll left abandoned, honeycombs on the window, cracks all over the walls. Furthermore, there is no air conditioner and therefore in the summer you have to choose whether to die of the heat or open the window and fill yourself with any animal (also given the position overlooking the river and the absence of a mosquito net). The daily "cleaning" consisted of pulling up the sheet on the bed (even with little care): not even a sweep of the floor! The breakfast is really poor and poorly organized. It's worth a stop only if you're passing through... as long as the stay is free!!!!! Not recommended! The three stars of the structure do not justify the decadence and lack of cleanliness!

Clean hotel, with furnishings somewhat reminiscent of early 20th century English drawing rooms. Bedrooms with bathroom and climate. Relaxing the sound of the river flowing below. Since I was a finalist in the "magic wall" poetry contest, I paid 73 euros instead of 92. Buffet breakfast with cold cuts, fresh croissants, juices, etc. The only thing is that it is about 2 km from the station, you need a car or a taxi. Anyway, I recommend it.

We went to sup Canyon Park and on our way back we stopped by chance asking if we could have lunch since it was after 2 pm With a lot of amazement I looked into the internal room, from the windows you can admire the view overlooking the river and I'm already there I'm in love. Try the cappelletti alla carbonara, the paccheri with pistachio pesto, cacio e pepe with scampi and lime, also the duck and the pluma! Courtesy and a great desire to get involved

Excellent position to reach all the various villages, bridges and places to visit. Excellent welcome, kindness and professionalism of the staff (reception, hotel and restaurant waiters, exceptional chef). The cleaning in the room is a really important flaw, (which I point out is super small compared to what can be seen in the booking photos) and the neglect of the details (welding of the bed structure gone and dangling, a piece of the bathroom door jamb was missing, handle of the rickety door... all things that absolutely do not compromise the holiday or the usability of the room but which are really ugly to see). Dust on the floor of the room to no end, instead bed linen and cleaning of the bathroom ok. Sometimes the room was not found ready in the time slot between 2 - 4 pm. Other things that can be improved are breakfast time, where the customer must have the possibility to immediately choose whether to stay inside or outside, there they were almost always tables set only outside. I also point out that I saw the tongs to take the brioches only on the first morning, as well as the napkins. The addition of mosquito nets in the rooms would be appreciated, given the absence of air conditioning. However, a very nice and well-spent holiday, I'm just saying that for a 3-star boutique hotel I expected something more.

I was on vacation with my family and wanted to take my wife out for dinner. Everything was perfect, clean and tidy environment, pleasant and professional dining room staff and FABULOUS dishes icing on the cake. The duo in the kitchen proposed some really tasty and refined dishes, served in an exemplary way. My compliments above all to Gabriel Suraci, a young talent behind the stove who has given a great show of cooking of the highest level.

Struttura molto bella, purtroppo mal tenuta. Arredi particolarmente datati, letti e materassi pessimi. Colazione accettabile. Peccato che la struttura pecchi di pulizia, appena decente. Va bene se serve solo per dormire. Se avete aspettative più ampie non va bene. Comodo il parcheggio a 30 metri. Viste le strade è un gran vantaggio.
