Visit tonight and booked a table for 4. First impressions were that of more dogs than customers, but putting that to one side we were pointed to our table and made our way there by ourselves. Seated and looked at the menu and made a decision on the kids menu for my boys (11 and 8) and choose the garlic cheesy bread for starter, Beef burger, chips and beans. Chicken goujons, mini corn and chips. Mains were 3 cheese and mushrooms on bruschetta, Montgomery Jack Burger with Bacon and slow cooked ribs, including drinks that came to over £80. The place was not busy and from what I saw front of house staff were 5+ and not including kitchen staff. Waited 30 mins for starters and when they came out.. wow Kids starter was a slice of bread with cheese and garlic butter on, Adults starter was again bread.. NOT Bruschetta and a single mushroom on each square and over powered garlic cheese, on all fronts not worth the £20 for 4 slices of bread, cheese and garlic. Mains took another 25 mins after this and again was hoping for something better but disappointed to say not even close. Kids burger bun was rock hard and not edible. Mini corn was just 1 medium piece of normal corn and not cooked well and dry. Adult burger was bland and nothing special and NOT worth £17. The slow cooked rib came out cold and with a layer of grease on top. When I mentioned it was cold to the staff, who not once came over and asked if everything was ok took the meal back to the kitchen to re-heat it.... I mean to openly say it was going to be reheated and not replace.. POOR. When the staff member came back he admitted it was bad and apologised but the damage was done, we never waited for the kids dessert we went to MacDonald's instead. I will not or ever be recommending The Oak at Baginton and will be leaving as many reviews were I can to reflect this.

I was booked in here for two nights with my colleague for work and they cancelled my booking at the last moment. did nothing to try and help find alternative accommodation. Just kept repeating that the terms and conditions allow them to cancel at any time. I have used them before but will never use them or send any of my staff there again.

Lovely hotel with an aircraft inspired/themed restaurant. Breakfast is very good and served promptly, and portion size is very good. Evening meals are also very good, but portion sizes are large! Friendly staff, comfy beds in the room and clean. Recommended

Very friendly staff. Mel and Faith could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms. Generous meals. Lovely visit with dogs allowed, heaps of parking outdoor seating and quirky bar. Location ideal for Leaminton Spa, Coventry and Birmingham.

Booked a table for 4 for 5.30 Monday evening. 3 of our main course choices were unavailable. We left and went to The Old Mill nearby. Pathetic! What would it be like when they are busy? Staff. Unapologetic and didn't seem to care.

Location is great Breakfast is great Free parking Pub is next door Room- Average -musty smell Hot water was very slow and some days reduced to a dribble with no pressure. Tea/coffee in room Some toiletries Room was clean and big With a little TLC in getting the rooms aired and fixing the hot water system to be able to service all rooms this would be a 5/5 place to stay. Lovely little village to visit.

Enjoyable one night stay with breakfast. Alison had left the room very clean and welcoming. Was allocated a room on the 1st floor as a tall guy ceilings were very low due to the roof layout. Toilet in the bathroom was unusable due to low ceiling and being close to the wall. Mattress was comfortable shower was hot and amenities were available. The accommodation block is located next to the pub. Breakfast was average mushrooms were overcooked.

Looks good on website and has really positive reviews. When I arrived the pub was reasonably busy, not the warm friendly welcome described by other reviews. Room nice, clean although remote for TV did not work and the light in the bathroom took ages to come on. Dinner not great, overcooked pie and veg. I overheard staff say hotel was full... perhaps they should have had more staff on shift. Was advised breakfast from 8....appears to actually be 7... which meant i was pushed for time as had to leave at 845. Shame, as looked great on Web site

Excellent service every time we visit. Very friendly staff always very accommodating of our needs, good food easy to get too, plenty of parking. I have not stayed overnight but based on my experience visiting i have no doubt the rooms would be great.
